Mehrere Seiten scannen und in 1 Datei speichern?

When I try to scan in a 2-page document with xsane I end up with an empty file although image-1 and image-2 look fine. I tried all 3 of the available formats: tiff yields a file where I see only the first page; choice of pdf or postscript format yields an empty file, however the file size indicates that the scan images are contained. The xsane documentation is silent on my question.

Versuchs doch mal mit Kooka, hier sollte es ebenfalls möglich sein das mehrere Bilder in eine PDF Datei geschrieben werden.

Perhaps you can do something with "pdftk".
