hallo
mein scsi scanner ist an einem scsi controller angeschlossen, der eine scsi-festplatte ohne probleme bedient. (SYMBIOS PCI SCSI ADAPTER 53C810, bei yast-hardware als festplattencontroller eingerichtet) Die dem scanner beigelegte schnittstellenkarte habe ich nicht benutzt. Wenn ich den scanner bei yast-hardware-scanner anmelde, bekommt er die zuordnung /dev/sg10. Wenn ich ihn danach mit xsane anspreche, findet er das scanner-device. Das scanner-ding ruckelt und brummt auch eine minute. Dann kommt der io-fehler. Bei der device selection von xsane 9.2 bietet er eine liste von 64 scannern an, von microtek:/dev/sg64 bis sg01. Den device sg10 kann ich gar nicht anklicken, weil er außerhalb des bildschirmes ist, keinen rollbalken hat. Beim zweiten versuch mit sane findet er kein scanner device mehr, er schlägt solche lösungsmöglichkeiten vor - the backend is not loaded by sane – the backend is not configured correct. Damit kann ich nichts anfangen. Ich vermute das problem an der stelle, dass linux 64 verschiedene scanner entdeckt. Und es ist seltsam, jedes über yast-hardware angemeldete ding ist beim wiederholten aufruf von yast-hardware noch da. Der scanner ist nach anmeldung im yast-hardware beim nächsten reinschauen wieder verschwunden.
gleiches system samt scanner läuft unter WIN98SE ohne mucken.
wer kann mir einen tip geben?
