Netzwerk tot nach Standby

Hallo,

Nach dem Standby ist bei mir die Netzwerkverbindung weg...
Wie kann ich das einstellen, dass die Verbindung danach wieder automatisch aufgebaut wird?
(Ich habe keine weiteren Verbindungen eingestellt. Mein PC ist per Ethernet über einen Switch mit dem DSL-Modem Verbunden. Die Verbindung wird beim Neustart gleich automatisch aktiviert...)

Nutze SUSE 11.2 mit KDE 4.3.4 auf einem EeePC 1005HA-H.

Schau dir nach einem Standby mal mit lsmod die Liste der geladenen Module nach. Wahrscheinlich fehlt da nur das Modul für die Netzwerkkarte.

OK, hätte ich auch drauf kommen können... :eek:ps:

cat /var/log/messages ergibt bei mir ein einige Seiten langes Dokument...

Vielleicht ein Tipp wonach ich genau Ausschau halten sollte?
 
Die Ausgabe ist doch chronologisch sortiert, also schau mal nach der Uhrzeit des suspends und den darauf folgenden Einträgen.

Laut lsmod hat deine Karte einen Atheros Chip und für den sind die Treiber geladen.

Was hast du den für Hardware im Betrieb? Verwendest du ACPI etc.?

Hier die /var/log/messages ab dem "Suspend to RAM" und direkt danach. Wer wird hieraus schlau?
Ein 2 Monate alter SUSE-Neuling kann leider nicht viel hiermit anfangen...

Möglich das es mit dem Networkmanager zusammen hängt. (Siehe Meldung der pm-utils)

Verwendest du den Networkmanager oder ifup zur Konfiguration der Karten?

Wie in meinem ersten Post erwähnt, habe ich überhaupt nichts konfiguriert. Es ging alles soweit OOTB...
Bis auf das beschriebene Problem...

Ich wüsste auch nicht wie ich etwas anders konfigurieren sollte...

Weiß niemand Rat? Bin ich der einzige mit diesem Problem?

Da ich auf der Arbeit den Computer den ganzen Tag brauche, aber immer nur punktuell (aber dann schnell) ist es für mich sehr wichtig dass das Netzwerk nach dem "Suspend to RAM" funktionniert! (Habe schon überlegt wieder zurück zu ubuntu zu wechseln, da ich dort nie solche Probleme hatte... Aber eigentlich mag ich SUSE doch lieber...)

SUSE-Newbie wäre sehr, sehr dankbar für brauchbare Hinweise, How-Tos oder Step-by-step Anleitungen...!!!

Deine Netzwerkkarten werden per NetworkManager konfiguriert. Deaktiviere den NetworkManager und konfgiuriere deine Karten mal per Yast und der traditionellen Methode mit ifup.

Tritt der Fehler dann immer noch auf?

(geschweige denn was die "traditionellen Methode mit ifup" sein soll)

wie du den networkmanager deaktivierst, weisst du aber, oder?

Für die traditionelle Einrichtung, starte yast, wechsel zur Kategorie Netzwerkgeräte und dann wählst du Netzwerkeinstellungen. Dort kann du dann deine Karte konfigurieren. Das konfigurieren sollte kein Thema sein, und wenn du irgendwo hängst, kannst du ja einfach hier nachfragen.
