Das könnte darauf hindeuten, daß die beiden Partitionen zusammengefaßt wurden, und daß so etwas ganz von allein und ohne Dein Zutun passiert, kann ich mir schwer vorstellen. Was zeigt als root:

Ich hab bewusst nix an btrfs gemacht. Ich kann mich auch nicht an ein Update erinnern, dass in der Richtung gewesen wäre.

Als Laie sehe ich das auch so. Nachdem die Metadaten auf /dev/sda2 liegen, hat Dein "start job" vermutlich immer dann Probleme, wenn die Verknüpfung auf /dev/sda5 zeigt.

Nach meinem Verständnis darf udev in einer derartigen Konstellation keine Verknpüfung /dev/disk/by-uuid/fd2f5d02-cb97-4140-b43d-1b2e9cbfd86c anlegen, da sie nicht eindeutig ist. Existiert sie trotzdem, darf sie Dein "start job" aus demselben Grund nicht verwenden. Da ich weder openSUSE noch btrfs noch systemd verwende, bin ich jetzt draußen. Ich fürchte, Dir kann nur jemand helfen, der eine vergleichbare Konstellation erfolgreich gebändigt hat.

Ja etwas in der Art muß es sein! Da der Bootvorgang mal funktioniert, mal nicht. Wie grade eben, wollte booten, es kam wieder Hinweis auf den startjob, nach einen Neustart bottete er ganz normal. Ansonsten treten ja keine Probleme auf.

Ich hab mal etwas rumgespielt: Der Partitionierer von yast hat einen Punkt btrfs: hier zeigt es mir folgendes an:

/dev/sda2 /*
/dev/sda5 /

Das würde ja heißen, ich hätte 2 Rootpartitionen und eine davon ist auch die Bootpartition. Ich werde morgen mal versuchen mit einer LiveCD den Inhalt der beiden Platen anzusehen.

Ein Bekannter meinte, das ganze sähe aus wie ein Raid obwohl es keiner ist. Aber er kennt sich leider auch nicht aus mit btrfs. Wäre es möglich aus meiner Konstellation einen Raid zu machen? Ginge das überhaupt mit 2 Partitionen?

Langsam komm ich der Sache näher. Ich hab den Vorgang im Bugforum gepostet, dort wurde mit mitgeteilt, dass btrfs die Möglichkeit hat sich über 2 Partitionen auszudehnen, aber wie das geschehen konnte, wissen sie auch nicht. Ich hab von einer Neuinstallation abgesehen, da ich auch zu allem Überfluss noch fast eine Woche Internetausfall hatte (kaputtes Kabel der Telekom). Nun kam grade ein Update unter anderem eine Kernelfirmware. Bei der Installation kam folgende Meldung:

Könnte es sein, dass bei einem Update das Ganze durcheinander gekommen ist? Wenn ich die Meldungen richtig deute ist auch der Bootloader davon betroffen.

Danke! Das werde ich versuchen. Ich hab daran gedacht, dass ich die UUID von /dev/sda5 ändere. Ist das im laufenden System möglich? Oder soll man es mit einer Opensuse Live CD machen?

Die UUID ist ein Attribut des Dateisystems. Daher müssen zuerst die Partitionen getrennt werden. Wenn btrfs intelligent genug ist, wird es dem Dateisystem der abgetrennten Partition eine neue UUID verpassen. Auf jeden Fall solltest Du Dich danach vergewissern, daß dort keine Daten der Systempartition verblieben sind, die beim nächsten Start fehlen. Ich würde die Partition dann neu formatieren, und zwar im laufenden System, dann bist Du sicher, daß Deine Systempartition davon nicht betroffen ist.

Daten der Systempartition sollten nicht zurückbleiben, denn das WIKI schreibt dazu:
btrfs device delete is used to remove devices online. It redistributes any extents in use on the device being removed to the other devices in the filesystem
Platz ist auf sda2 ja genügend vorhanden. Da ca. 4 GB von sda5 nach sda2 verschoben werden müssen , könnte die Aktion etwas Zeit brauchen.

Es hat wunderbar geklappt! Ich hab den Befehl:

btrfs device delete /dev/sda5
im laufenden System durchgeführt. Hat ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten gedauert. Danach war /dev/sda5 aus btrfs entfernt, hab es über Konsole und Yast überprüft, danach war nur noch /dev/sda2 unter btrfs eingetragen. Ich hab denn Grub mit yast nochmal neu konfiguriert und neugebootet, hat geklappt. In der Eile hab ich gar nicht geschaut, ob es für den Befehl eine verbosefunktion gibt. Wenn man den Befehl so eingibt, zeigt es keinen Fortschritt an, ich hab mit dann in einer weiteren Konsole mit Top beholfen.
