WLan funktioniert nur netzintern

Hallo erst einmal an alle hier,

als SUSE-Newbi erhoffe ich mir nach 2Tagen Haare raufen und 4eckigen Augen ein wenig Hilfe bei meinem Problem.

Kurz etwas zu meinem System und wichtigen Eck-Daten:

BS: OpenSUSE 10.3
WLAN-Karte: rt2400-Chipsatz
Netzstruktur: I-Net <-> WLAN-DSL-Router <-> LAN (Wlan per WEP, shared, mit 2 Win-Kisten zusätzlich)


Problembeschreibung:

Seit einigen Tagen versuche ich, eine Internet-Verbindung via Wlan-DSL-Router aufzubauen.
Nachdem ich also annahm, daß meine WLan-Karte auf dem Suse-System nicht ordentlich läuft mittels der mitgelieferten OpenSUSE-Treiber, entschied ich mich, es mittels NDISWRAPPER zu versuchen.

Nun läuft zumindestens netzintern das WLan, d.h. ich kann also innerhalb des Lan`s pingen und auch traceroute ausführen. Alles ist erreichbar.
Lediglich der Zugang nach draußen bleibt mir auf dem OpenSUSE-PC verwehrt.

Der Befehl "route -n" gibt mir zwar etwas aus, jedoch kann ich kein "add" verwenden, da bekomm ich nur irgendwelche Hinweise auf "inet-route"... Leider sind meine Konsolen- und Englisch-Kenntniss nur rudimentär :-D

Auch das Eintragen in den Experteneinstellungen und Yast -> Routing brachten bisher nichts. :-(

Der zweite Code-Auszug war nicht versehentlich, sondern als Anhang gedacht - ich hatte nämlich die Konsolen-Ausgaben von "route.." vergessen, mit anzuhängen.

Was den Link mit dem schönen Analyse-Prog betrifft, so hab ich das schon durchlaufen lassen und sitze gerade an der Fehleranalyse :)

Also, wie gesagt, ich melde mich wieder :)

Hier kurz ein Zwischenergebnis:

Mit colletNWData.sh wurden 3 Fehlercodes ausgegeben, von denen zwei erst einmal etwas näher die Problematik beschrieben:

1. es fehlt eine Default-Route (das wusste ich aber auch schon vorher - nur leider funktioniert der Befehl "route add default .... " ja nicht - die Konsolen-Rückmeldung hatte ich ja oben gepostet.)

2. Bezog sich darauf, dass 2 verschiedene configurations-tools ( ifup, usw.) verwendet werden, und das empfohlen wird, netmanager zu verwenden, weil dieses es bekanntes Anfängerproblem ist...

zu 2. Stellt sich mir im Moment die Frage, wie ich denn dieses ifup deaktiviere... Google ist grad wieder mein bester Freund :-D

Hallo an alle,

hab nun erst einmal alles abgebrochen.

Lösung nach einer Neuinstallation mittels Repeater und "wired connection" .

Suse läuft nun sauber über eth0.

Vielen Dank an alle, die sich Mühe gegeben haben, um mir weiter zu helfen. Werde mich mal in Ruhe mit Wlan unter Suse beschäftigen, ohne dass mir drängelnde Kinder im Genick sitzen :)

Vielen Dank noch einmal an alle, auch wenn die Tips nicht viel Erfolg gebracht haben - Aber...

... das Tool colletNWData.sh ist echt super :)
