[gelöst] Brauche hilfe mit ndiswrapper

hi, ich versuche nun schon seit einiger zeit meinen wlan-adapter unter linux zum laufen zu bringen und bräuchte nun eine hilfe von einem der sich mit linux besser auskennt als ich :D . also zuerst hab ich mal im internet nach einem möglichem programm gesucht und schließlich ndiswrapper gefunden. bei der installation hab ich mich exat an einige anleitungen im internet gehalten und der treiber sollte auch funktionieren, schließlich steht er ja bei der liste vom ndiswrapper dabei (http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/joomla/index.php?/component/option,com_openwiki/Itemid,33/id,list_m-n/ ,nummer 18) aber anscheinend scheitert er beim laden des treibers, hier hab ich mal die log rauskopiert:

Vermutlich wird der ndiswrapper überhaupt nicht mehr benötigt, weil das Ding über den b43-Treiber (und der entsprechenden Firmware) zum funken gebracht werden müsste.
Näheres nach Bekanntgabe der Ausgaben des skriptes.

Sieht wirklich nach ndiswrapper aus, da es für die Atheros-USB-Chipsätze keine nativen Linux-Treiber gibt.
Allerdings würde ich dringend empfehlen, Suse in der 32bit-Variante zu installieren.
Du versuchst nämich gerade einen 32bit-Windowstreiber in dein 64bit-System zu laden. Das funktioniert nicht (Siehe auch entsprechende Meldung).

Also: Neuinstallieren, 32bit-Version nehmen, dann mit ndiswrapper das Glück nochmal versuchen.

Poste doch mal bitte die Schritte mit denen du den Treiber mit ndiswrapper installiert hast. Ich denke mal da fehlt einer (ndiswrapper -ma).

ndiswrapper -ma? davon hab ich noch nirgends was gelesn das man den befehl braucht. also hier meine schritte:
zuerst ndiswrapper make, dann ndiswrapper make install, dann die .inf dateien hinzugefügt mit ndiswrapper -i dann ndiswrapper -l zur überprüfung schließlich modprobe ndiswrapper und dann noch zur endgültigen überprüfung mit dmesg aber da stand nix davon dass er die .sys dateien geladen hat...

Schau mal was ich hier schreibe:

als erstens alle Treiber entfernen mit ndiswrapper -r athfmwdl und ndiswrapper netwg11t

Step-by-Step:

1.)YAST->Software->Software installieren oder löschen
2.) als Suchwort eingeben:

ndiswrapper
3.) selektiere nur ndiswrapper ( Abhängigkeiten werden automatisch aufgelöst)
4.) installieren und YAST beenden

so jetzt kommt der Teil in der Konsole:

ndiswrapper -i netwg11t.inf ( bitte vorher ins Verzeichnis gehen, wo sich diese Datei befindet )
ndiswrapper -l
(ausgabe:) netwg11t.inf installed,hardware present
modprobe ndiswrapper
ndiswrapper -m
(ausgabe:) ndiswrapper modules alias wlan0 added

anschließend mit KNetworkmanager einrichten.
Mache bitte nicht den Fehler und installiere 2 Treiber für dein USB-WLAN-Stick, da kann es nicht funktionieren
In yast (System - Editor für /etc/sysconfig-Dateien) wird ndiswrapper unter der Option MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT eingetragen.

Noch ein Hinweis:

Im jeweiligen Router muss bei den Verbindungen mit KNetworkmanager unbedingt der Modus auf "802.11g" eingestellt werden. Bei gemischten Modus kann es passieren, dass die Verbindung mal aufgebaut wird und mal nicht.

Aber nur eins der beiden Treiber installieren. also nicht netwg11t.inf sondern athfmwdl.inf nehmen.
wenn du in der Konsole bist, bitte keinen WLAN-Verbindung nutzen bzw. aufbauen.
Gelegentlich erkennt openSUSE das als Laufwerk.

gut ich habs jetzt mal so versucht wies du beschrieben hast alex. allerdings frag ich mich wieso ich nicht beide .inf dateien installieren soll, schließlich wird extra in der liste (http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/joom ... ,list_m-n/) bei mir darauf hingewiesen dass ich beide installieren soll (Other: This driver comes with two sets of .inf and .sys files: athfmwdl and wg111t. Both of these must be installed with their *.inf files.). außerdem noch eine zweite frage: muss die ausgabe von ndiswrapper -l wirklich so aussehen?

ndiswrapper -l
(ausgabe:) netwg11t.inf installed,hardware present

bei mir sieht sie nämlich so aus:

achja, wenn ich knetworkmanager starten will, öffnet sich der nicht, kann ich das nicht mit yast machen? es wird ja auch in einigen foren beschrieben dass man das mit yast konfigurieren soll

If using vista compatible drivers (e.g. version 2.1) you will need to use wine (tested with version 0.9.49) to extract drivers and install netwg11t.inf from the Driver directory (only need one .inf) within “~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/NETGEAR/WG111T”. Version 2.1 also allows WPA2 to work.

Dein Stick wird aber auch als den o.g. ausgegeben.

Nein, ich wollte es nur damit sagen dass es auch mit dieser ID erkannt wird.

Wenn du es in YAST komplett einrichten willst, musst du das von Networkmanager in traditionelle Verbindung umstellen. Danach komplett in YAST eintragen.
Kann aber dir nicht versprechen, ob es klappt...

naja eigentlich ist mein problem immer noch beim ndiswrapper...ich hab mit ndiswrapper -i den treiber athfmwdl.inf installiert und danach modprobe nidswrapper eingegeben und als ich mir die log mit dmesg angeschaut hab stand da zwar dass ndiswrapper ausgeführt wird aber nix davon dass er den treiber geladen hat. könnt es vielleicht an der software selbst oder so liegen?

tja in gweisser weise hab ichs schon mal versucht, ich bin mir nur nicht sicher was du unter "traditionell" verstehst. ich hab ihn mal neu angeschlossen und er hat ihn nicht erkannt (zumindest hat er nichts gemledet das er was gefunden hat) und ich hab bei yast versucht ihn einzurichten was aber fehlgeschlagen ist weil er ihn ja offenbar nicht erkannt hat. außerdem:

Ich hatte den Hinweis von Grothesk schlicht überlesen und der ist in dem Thema mit Sicherheit mehr drin als ich und hat daher auch mehr Plan.
Ich dachte nur der würde sich leichter einbinden lassen, weil ich selber mit einem ähnlichen Stick vor einiger Zeit wenig Probleme hatte,zwar nicht mit Suse aber...
