Noch was....

ich habe nun versucht, ein paar Daten von mir auf meiner externen Festplatte zu sichern, aber leider habe ich keinen Schreibzugriff auf der Platte. Jedesmal, wenn ich einen neuen Ordner erzeugen will oder einfach nur was draufkopieren möchte, dann kommt "....der Ordner kann nicht erstellt werden....".

Wie bekomme ich die Schreibrechte auf meiner eigenen Platte? Nicht einmal als root habe ich diese.

Gut, habe ich gemacht. Ich weiß jetzt schon einmal, dass ab 10.3 ntfs-3g mit installiert wird. Dennoch habe ich immer noch keine Schreibrechte.

Soll ich einen neuen Thread aufmachen oder kann mir jemand einen Link mit der Lösung schicken?

Bei Packman gibt es ein schönes Tool: ntfs-config oder...
dann kann man einfach nen Haken bei Schreibrechten machen und jut is...

Bei funktioniert das für die internen Platten gut...unter 10.3 ging es mit
meinen ext. HDs nicht...unter 11 noch nicht ausprobiert, da frisch installiert!

Die Festplatte wurde unter Windows nicht ordentlich ausgehängt. Windows starten, USB-Platte _SAUBER_ 'entfernen', 'auswerfen' oder wie auch immer das dort heißt. Muss man u. U. zwei mal machen.

Hat vielleicht jemand für mich eine Lösung ? Folgendes: ich hatte 10.2 und habe mir 11.0 runtergeladen und installiert. Eigentlich wollte ich mir nur eine Live-CD machen, aber da wurde auch eine Installation angeboten und das habe ich genutzt. Hat auch alles geklappt und Linux läuft. Aber... nun komme ich nicht mehr an Windows dran was vorher mit 10.2 einträchtig auf dem Rechner war und bei Bedarf gestartet werden konnte.
Aber Windows startet nicht mehr ! Da kommt ein blauer Bildschirm auf dem verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum Starten angeboten werden und dann steht das was von "unmountabel" ?? Egal wie ich dann Win starte, kommt immer eine Fehlermeldung daß WIN angehalten wird um eine Beschädigung des Computers zu vermeiden.
Die Ordner C: und D: sind noch da und ich kann die Dateien darin lesen, aber das nützt mir nur am Rande. Denn ich möchte WIN als Betriebssystem wahlweise laufen lassen können.

Wäe schön, wenn da jemand eine Lösung wüßte ?

Ach, vielleicht sollte ich noch sagen: ich bin absoluter Anfänger mit LINUX, kann aber sonst ganz gut mit dem Computer umgehen.
