VMware Workstation 6-gibt es etwas günstigeres vergleichbare

Hallo Moderator !

Sorry für die Doppelposts, aber ich fürchte, es geht sonst die Übersichtlichkeit verloren.
Habe jetzt nocheinmal Suse neu aufgesetzt.

Habe die >Virtualbox Version von Suse installiert
- virtualbox-kmp-bigsmp 1.5.0_2.6.22.5_31
-virtualbox-kmp-default "" "" ""
-kernel-source 2.6.22.9
-linux-kernel-headers 2.6.22

installiert. Mehr war nicht in Yast drinnen.
Hatte auch diesen virtualbox...debug kernel installiert, habe diesen aber wieder entfernt.

Danach habe ich im Yast beu Benutzer unter vbxusr (?) ein Häkchen bei meinem Namen (Benutzer) gemacht)

Dann habe ich neu gebootete.

Im Bootmenü steht jezt aber 2x OpenSuse und einmal Debug..... keine Ahnung warum

enn ich jetzt die Virtualbox starte, ene virtuelle Machine ist ertstellt, kommt immer noch die Meldung mit dem nicht installierten vm driver.

Also habe ich im Terminal modprob vboxdrv eingegen.

Die Fehlermeldung beim Start der virtuellen Maschine kommt nicht mehr. Wenn man auf Start klickt kommt ja der schwarze Bildschirm und das Info-Fenster. Wenn ich im Infofenster dann OK klicke, schließt sich der schwarze Bildschirm ganz schnell.

Kann sich nicht mal jemand erbarmen, mir als Anfänger eine einfache Problemlösung zu geben ?

Das wäre sehr nett. Ich bin wirklich am verzweifeln, habe alles ausprobiert.

Hmm, also irgendwie verstehe ich Deine Installationsprobleme nicht. Ich habe jetzt gerade auf einem frisch installierten openSUSE 10.3 32Bit (inkl. aller Updates) VirtualBox 1.5.2 installiert und es läuft.
Ich habe folgende Schritte durchgeführt:
1. Folgende Pakete über Yast installiert:
gcc, gcc42-c++, kernel-source, kernel-syms, libXalan-c-110
inklusive aller automatischen Abhängigkeiten.
2. Folgende Version für openSUSE 10.2 heruntergeladen:
http://www.virtualbox.org/download/1.5.2/VirtualBox-1.5.2_25433_openSUSE103-1.i586.rpm
3. Diese Version als Root mit rpm installiert:
rpm -i VirtualBox-1.5.2_25433_openSUSE103-1.i586.rpm
Dabei wurden die Kernel Module anstandslos kompiliert, in/etc/init.d/ die Startscripte erstellt und auch schon aktiviert. Ich musste kein Finger dafür rühren.
4. Nun habe über Yast alle Benutzer, die VirtualBox nutzen sollen der Gruppe vboxusers zugeordnet.
5. In der /etc/fstab muss folgender Eintrag enthalten sein:
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs devgid=85,devmode=666 0 0
6. Jetzt System rebooten, damit die Änderungen an der /etc/fstab aktiv werden.

Und jetzt: VirtualBox starten!
