Probleme mit opensuse 10.2 nach patchen

I habe openSuSE 10.2 mit Software RAID1. Meine /etc/grub.conf ist entsprechend angepasst.

Nach dem ich die letzten Patches eingespielt habe, bekomme ich auf dem Startbildschirm zwei verschiedene Kernel Version angeboten, wobei die default Einstellung nicht funktioniert.

uname -a liefert 2.6.18.8-0.3-bigsmp

In /boot finde ich auch nur obigen Kernel

Kann mir jemand sagen, ob
a) dieser Kernel der aktuelle ist und
b) wo ich den fehlerhaften Eintrag zum starten eliminieren kann

Du kannst den Teil direkt in der /boot/grub/menu.lst entfernen/löschen.
