Hi,
ich habe gerade mit VirtualBox 1.3.6 (fein, dass es sowas jetzt auch unter der GPL gibt) experimentiert, ich habe aber ein Problem mit USB.
Es kommt folgende Fehlermeldung "Failed to access the USB Subsystem"
Details:
Ist das, weil Suse das USBFS im Kernel nicht aktiviert hat? Ähnliches hat man ja über Vmware 5.5.3 unter Opensuse 10.2 gelesen.

2. Frage: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, vorhandene Vmware-Images in VirtualBox zu importieren?

On Linux hosts, VirtualBox accesses USB devices on Linux through the usbfs file system. Therefore, the user executing VirtualBox needs read and write permission to the USB file system. Most distributions provide a group (e.g. usbusers) which the VirtualBox user needs to be added to. Also, VirtualBox can only proxy to virtual machines USB devices which are not claimed by a Linux host USB driver.
