Firefox beendet sich eigenständig

Wenn ich mit dem Thinclient auf einer Webseite eine ca.5MB große JPEG-Datei anklicke, öffnet Firefox eine neues Fenster und beendet dann nach kurzer Zeit die Anwendung komplett. Wenn ich die gleiche Aktion direkt auf dem LTSP-Server ausführe, wird das JPEG geöffnet. Ein Speicherproblem kann das doch wohl nicht sein weil alle Anwendungen auf dem Server laufen.
Hat jemand eine Idee???

Poste bitte die Fehlermeldungen, die auf der Konsole ausgegeben werden.

weder auf der Konsole noch in /var/log/messages wird eine Fehlermeldung ausgegeben.
Firefox wird komplett geschlossen und sonst passiert nichts.

Ich habe jetzt meinen PC (P4 und 1GB RAM) über PXE gebootet und siehe da das JPEG läßt sich problemlos öffnen! .... ich verstehe das nicht!!!!!!

Kennst du noch eine Log-Datei wo ich nachschauen könnte????

schau mal im Home-Verzeichnis in die Datei .xsession-errors <- da werden unter anderem Programmabstürze protokolliert
