Tochpad (kein Synoptic) konfigurieren, SUSE 9.1

Hallo zusammen.


Ja ich weiß, schon wieder ein Newbie der sein blödes Touchpad nicht auf die Reihe bekommt ;)
Also wenn es von Synoptic wäre, dann gäb es hier im Forum schon genug Beiträge, die mir geholfen hätten. Aber leider ist dem nicht so und darum muss ich doch mal nerven:

Wie kriege ich - bei einem x-beliebigen Touchpad - diese blöde
Eigenschaft weg, dass ein kurzes Antippen des Touchpads einen
Mausklick auslöst? Im BIOS geht's schonmal nicht.
Unter SaX wird das Ding als stinknormale PS-2 Maus erkannt.
Herstellertreiber gibt es leider nur für Windows XP/2000.

Mein Laptop ist ein Smartbook von Issam, genauer: I-2000S.

Hm, das hab ich vorhin als ich deine erste Antwort noch nicht gelesen habe gemacht und jetzt startet der X und KDE nicht mehr
weil er keine Maus findet.
Hab dann provisorisch in XF86Config oder so eine Maus hinzu-
gefügt mit Driver = "Mouse" und Device = "/dev/mouse"
unter InputDevice aber jetzt startet er nicht mehr mit der
Fehlermeldung "no screens" oder so.
Das ist sehr eigenartig :)

Dein weiteres Problem wird ja hier behandelt.;)
Sollte es also wieder funktionieren, kann man hier im Thread ja weiter das Touchpad-Problem besprechen.;)

Sodala, hab mal tpconfig gezogen als rpm und über YaST installiert.
per konsole aufgerufen aber der sagt mir:

fatal:
No Synaptics or ALPS touchpad device found

Unter sax2 ist das ding angezeigt als:
"explorerps/2 an port /dev/mouse"

Hier der jetztige (funktionierende...) eintrag in
/etc/X11/XF86Config

Was für nen kernel hast du installiert? (2.4, 2.6)
Welche boot-params hast du?
