Xorg mit ATI, Xgl ohne ATI ?!

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe ein openSUSE 10.3 System mit KDE 3.5.8
ATI-Treiber 8.42.3 ist installiert.

Ich möchte gerne mal Compiz ausprobieren und habe deshalb folgende Anleitung durchgeführt.

Nach dem aktivieren von XGL sind offensichtlich aber die ATI-Treiber nicht mehr geladen :

Wenn ich mit Xorg starte bringt die Ausgabe von fglrxinfo folgendes:

OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.

Wenn ich mit XGL starte bringt die Ausgabe von fglrxinfo folgendes:

OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.2 (2.1 Mesa 6.5.3)

Wie kann das denn sein?
Was muss ich tun damit auch bei XGL die Treiber korrekt geladen werden?
