animierter Hintergrund bei KDE?

Hi,
es interessiert mich ob man bei KDE ein animierten Hintergrund haben kann (z.B. mit GIF?). Z.B. ein drehendes Riesenrad, oder halt was animiertes als Hintergrund"bild". Ist das möglich (ohne selber das zu programmieren)/gibts ein "plugin" dafür?

Das gibt es. Zum Beispiel den xfishtank. Das ist ein Aquarium.
Dieser Hintergrund ist allerdings ohne Anleitung nicht zu installieren. Eine Anleitung steht zum Beispiel in der easyLinux 09/2005.

Naja... Du könntest z.B. Superkaramba installieren... da ist dann je nach Plugins jede Menge auf dem Desktop los :mrgreen:

Xwinwrap and coolbg for animated desktop background.

ich empfehle dir das Programm per Yast oda Smart zu installieren
und natürlich vorher die Quelle

Edit: so, ich hab mir das Programm mal isntalliert, aber wie komme bekomme ich es jetzt hin, dass auf meinem Bildschirm sich was bewegt?
die gnazen Parameter in der konsole die man hinter xwinwrap eingeben muss, sagen mir leider nichts.
Gibts da irgendwo ne Anleitung?

jetzt wollte ich das mal antesten.
Den Bildschirmschoner kann ich auswählen, dann werd ich gefragt ob dieser im Vorder- oder Hintergrund laufen soll, und dann bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung

stimmt. das sit schon ne Weile her. Werd mir das aber nochmal anschauen.

Mittlerweile hat sich bei mir Hardwaremäßig am Rechner auch schon was geändert, denn mittlerweile hab ich ne nvidia Graka und nvglx ist auch installiert.

Aber wenn ich dann Probleme habe, weiss ich ja an wen ich mich wenden kann,...
