[gelöst] KMenü speichert keine Änderungen oder neue Einträge

Hallo.

Beim Ändern im KMenü stelle ich jetzt fest, das diese nicht übernommen werden Auch Neueinträge gehen wieder verloren.
Erst nachdem ich kmenueedit mit root-Rechten gestartet habe, erhalte ich eine Fehlermeldung die da lautet:

Habe mal die Berechtigungen unter /usr/share/kde4/apps/kmenueeditor überprüft. Da ist soweit alles in Ordnung.
In meinem Homeverzeichnis habe ich auch auf das .kde4-Verzeichnis Schreibrechte als User, so wie es soll.

Jemand eine Idee was uns die Fehlermeldung sagen soll? :???:

kmenueedit mit root-Rechten bringt wenig, auch zum Testen ist das in diesem Fall kaum geeignet.

Bleiben die Einträge wenigstens innerhalb einer Sitzung erhalten?

Nein, die Einträge bleiben nicht erhalten. Sobald ich den Menüeditor verlasse und wieder öffne, ist der Eintrag bereits weg, so als hätte ich ihn gar nicht gemacht . Werde Deinen Befehl noch testen und melde mich dann.

Natürlich. Er meldet auch "Systemeinrichtung wird aktualisiert!"

Nach dem Verlassen und Neustarten des Menüeditors ist dann aber alles wieder weg. Keine Fehlermeldung, auch keine in /var/log/messages.

Das Problem ist nicht User-abhängig.
Habe gerade einen Test-User mit frischem Homeverzeichnis aufgesetzt und das Ergebnis ist das gleiche. Änderung eingefügt, gespeichert, Editor verlassen, Änderung ist weg.
Als wenn das Ganze gar nicht erst gespeichert würde ... :???:

Ein Bug im KDE SC 4.7.2 ?

Der Bug ist bekannt. Unter kde.org liegt ein Workaround dazu vor.

Lösung:
Nach dem Erstellen des neuen Eintrags gibt es unter ~/.local/share/applications eine gleichlautende Datei namens <Eintrag>.desktop.
Diese Datei editieren und die Zeile mit dem Qualifier

OnlyShowIn=
rauslöschen.
Anschließend ist der Menüeintrag verfügbar.

Laut KDE erfolgt der Fix in KDE SC 4.7.3.
