Nach KDE 4.4.4 update bleibt Bildschirm schwarz

Hallo Liste

Ich hab heute durch Zufall auf KDE 4.4.4 geupdated. Und Plasma macht
wieder Probleme. Nach einem Start bleibt der Bildschirm Schwarz.
Bei "kquitplasma" kommt nur die Fehlermeldung: <unknown program
name>(4242)/: "Application plasma could not be found using service
org.kde.plasma and path /MainApplication."

Auch ein Verschieben der Plasma* Dateien aus /kde4/share/config bringt nichts.

Bei KDE Start kommt eine Fehlermeldung:

Hi eigentlich war ich bei meiner Krökelkiste, nach einem zypper up auch dabei in eine "Falle zu tappen".

Aber die Meldung, dass ein Repo, welches schon hundertmal funktionierte nicht mehr erreichbar war, machte mich stutzig.
Ausserdem erinnerte ich einen Beitrag von LOtz in der KDE-Sektion dieses Forums, in dem auf ein Repowechsel hingewiesen wurde.

Was ich damit sagen möchte ist dass, wenn man schon per "zypper up" oder gar "zypper dup" updatet, sollte man Meldungen berücksichtigen und auch die Option -v zur Anwendung kommen lassen.
Die Lektüre der einschlägigen Forensektionen bewahren auch vor Überraschungen. Diesmal war es die Rettung :D :D

Klingt überheblich, ist aber nicht so gemeint.

Das kann nicht passieren, wenn man das Factory-Repo einbindet und dann die einzelnen Pakete z.B. im Yast manuell zum Update über die Installationsquelle auswählt. Automatisch taugt einfach nicht, weil nicht alle Pakete erneuert werden.

Die Erfahrung habe ich auch schon 2 Mal gemacht. Habs dann mit Yast auf der Konsole wieder korrigiert, bzw. die nicht aktualisierten Pakete nachgezogen.

Edit: Factory ist schon bei 4.4.5. Seit heute?

ich habe jetzt mein KDE Problem, wie folgt geloest.

Umswitchen von

download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Distro:/Stable/openSUSE_11.1/

auf das

download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Distro:/Factory/openSUSE_11.1/

KDE Repository.

Danach ein zypper dup.

Jetzt startet die KDE Umgebung wieder.

kde4-config --version
Qt: 4.6.3
KDE Development Platform: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5) "release 270"
kde4-config: 1.0

also ich hab jetzt wie "abyss" gesagt hat das Repo von Stable in Factory getauscht. KDE funktioniert jetzt soweit wieder. Nur Ich kriege keine Verbindung zum Internet mehr hin. Weder über Wlan noch über Kabel... Er zeigt zwar mein Wlan an aber bei draufklicken passiert nichts...vor dem zypper dup (erst), gabs auch ein Abhängigskeitproblem mit dem Knetwork Manager. Aber Ich denke das war nur wegen v0.7 zu 0.9. Wie kriege ich mein Inet jetzt wieder?

mit dieser Frage bist in der Netzwerksektion des LC sicher besser aufgehoben.

Suche schon mal das genialste Script und führe collectNWData.sh aus - damit machst Du die Herrschaften glücklich.

So nachdem das Netzwerk wieder funktioniert sind hab ich noch zwei Fragen:

1. Wenn Ich den PC Herunterfahren / Neustarten will, gibt es so eine Art Fehlerton von KDE und danach passiert nichts mehr (kein Herunterfahren / Neustarten). Was kann man da machen?

2. @absyss: Ist es so ratsam das 'Factory Repo' zu benutzen? Siehe http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-kde/2010-07/msg00039.html ... bzw. wann wäre es ratsam wieder auf 'stable' umzustellen?
