[gelöst]Nach update auf KDE4.2 kein 3D-Desktop für alte User

Hallo,

Nachdem ich nun mein KDE4.1.x auf KDE4.2 angehoben habe, funktionieren die 3D-Desktopeffekte bei den bestehenden Usern nicht. Neu angelegte User hingegen haben den 3D-Desktop.
Jetzt meine Frage:

Wo genau liegen im Unterordner .KDE4 die Einstellungen für den 3D-Desktop? Dann würde ich da mal auf die Suche gehen. Ich möchte ungern den ganzen Ordner .KDE4 löschen.

Bennene den Ordner KDE4 mal um und starte das System neu.
Vielleicht reicht das schon.

Hallo.

Nachdem ich den Ordner umbenannt habe konnte ich immer noch kein 3D-Desktop aktivieren.
Dann liegt das Problem wohl an andere Stelle. Da neue Benutzer aber keine Probleme haben, muss es ja Benutzerspezifisch sein.

Nicht per default.

Damit kannst du sehen was installiert ist ist.

Ich kann im Moment leider nicht selber testen, da hier in meiner Firma kein KDE4 läuft.
Mehr kann ich erst morgen sagen nachdem ich selber mir mal einige Einstellungen zuhause angesehen habe.
Das bedeutet du musst etwas warten oder hoffen das sonst noch einer was dazu sagen kann.

/Edit:So nach einem Test funktioniert das hier.
Im Moment kann ich nicht so ganz nachvoll ziehen wo es bei dir hakt.

Hallo Whois,

ich habe jetzt einen neuen User angelegt und bin mit dem alten Benutzer praktisch umgezogen. Ist zwar etwas Arbeit mit den ganzen Mails usw. aber so hab ich wieder einen sauberen User. Wäre schön gewesen da eine Erklärung zu finden, so geht es aber ja auch.
