Samsung P400 hängt sich auf.

Hallo,

ich habe mir vor einiger zeit ein samsung p400 gekauft und mit etwas mühe und viel zeit suse linux 11.0 (64) installiert. hat dann auch alles funktioniert.
irgendwie macht er aber seit einiger zeit macken. immer wieder hängen sich manche anwendungen auf: opera, firefox, supertux,... manchmal so schlimm, dass ich ihn ausschalten muss und neu hochfahren muss. das passiert völlig unregelmässig. mal einen tag gar nicht, mal 3x in einer stunde.
mittlerweile nervt das - ich brauch für meine arbeitsberichte teilweise ziemlich lange dadurch.

woran kann das denn liegen ?? weiß jemand was ???

Ehrlich gesagt fällt mir nichts effezientes dabei auf was das verursachen könnte.
Ich muss es mir nachher nochmal genau ansehen.

immer wieder hängen sich manche anwendungen auf: opera, firefox, supertux,... manchmal so schlimm, dass ich ihn ausschalten muss und neu hochfahren muss. das passiert völlig unregelmässig. mal einen tag gar nicht, mal 3x in einer stunde.
mittlerweile nervt das - ich brauch für meine arbeitsberichte teilweise ziemlich lange dadurch.
supertux für deine Arbeitsberichte :???: ;) ;) ;) ;)

Ist schwer, da was vernünftiges herauszufiltern, da es mehrere Boot und Rebootvorgänge enthält, solange man nicht die Zeiten hat zu denen wegen des Problems rebootet wurde oder auch nicht. Ich habe aber dennoch einige Unregelmäßigkeiten gefunden.

Aufgefallen ist mir folgendes, eventuell kann der eine oder andere hier damit was anfangen.

dein TouchPad hat irgendwelche Probleme und schmeißt hin und wieder mal ein paar Byte weg, in wieweit das der Auslöser sein könnte, keine Ahnung.

Deine Tastatur ist nicht ganz sauber konfiguriert, mindestens eine Taste gibt es, die im Treiber nicht zugeordnet werden kann. Das sollte aber nichts ausmachen, wenn es der Treiber schon bemerkt hat, dann sollte er das auch verkraften können. ;)

Das ist 2 Mal in ähnlicher Art und Weise vorhanden und könnte eventuell bedeuten der Prozess operapluginwrap wird vom Kernel dabei erwischt wie er mit Hilfe der Library libgobject-2.0.so bei irgendeiner Aktion irgendwie im Speicher daneben greift. Der Prozess operapluginwrap sollte da anschließend vom Kernel eliminiert sein. Wenn da noch ein Browser mit dran hängt, dann könnte dieser danach durchaus schon mal komplett blockieren. operapluginwrap scheint zu Opera zu gehören. Die Library gehört jedenfalls zu Gnome, und sollte auch stabil und ok sein.

Solche Fehler könnten u. anderen durch fehlerhafte Flash- Versionen uÄ ausgelöst werden.

Hast du mal dauerhaft anstatt Gnome KDE 3.x benutzt ob das da auch auftritt?
Ich habe das in Bezug auf Gnome schon mehrfach gelesen, muss nicht zwangsläufig damit zu tun haben.

p.s.: nee, natürlich mache ich meine berichte nicht mit supertux. aber irgendwann bekommt man ja keinen vernünftigen satz mehr hin und dann kann man ja mal eine runde spielen. also hebt das eindeutig die qualität meiner berichte. :D

Also von den kleineren Fehlern die robi beschrieben hat sehe ich nichts was den Absturz verursachen könnte.
Das passiert ja auch zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten ob ein bestimmtes Programm geöffnet ist oder nicht nehme ich an?

Es sind doch keine Komplettabstürze? oder ? also irgendwas im Rechner geht noch, zB irgend was in der Konsole eingeben oder ähnliches, oder hab ich da was falsch verstanden? Das Minimum was noch gehen sollte ist eine Reaktion (LED oder Kontrolldisplay) auf die "NUM- Taste", das würde soviel bedeuten wie, der Kernel läuft noch. Hab jedenfalls auch immer angestoßene reboots in den obrigen Logs gefunden.

Also wenn sich nur die Browser aufhängen, eventuell sind es doch irgendwelche Plugins, flash ist da die Nummer 1, bei der ich nach einer anderen Version Ausschau halten würde..
Ansonsten müsstest du wirklich mal versuchen zu beobachten ob das irgendwie durch irgendwas (zB eine bestimmte Webseite) gezielt einzugrenzen oder rekonstruierbar auszulösen. Oder herauszufinden, bei welcher Rechnernutzung es definitiv nicht passiert, (zB supertux oder andere Spiele die die momentane Bildschirmauflösung ändern könnten zB nicht parelell zu einem offenen Webbrowser benutzen). Eventuell auch mal die letzten 20 Zeilen der Ausgabe von dmesg und die Prozesslist während eines solchen Hängers ( ps -efl ) sichern und dann hier posten. Solange es absolut unberechenbar und willkürlich aufzutreten scheint (und der typischen Verursacher Speicher durch memtest schon ausgeklammert ist), wird es kompliziert gezielt eine mögliche Ursache herauszufinden.

nee, komplett abstürzen tut er nicht. er hängt sich dann eben wahllos auf. - also das programm. ohne jegliche muster oder so !! ich hab auch schon sämtliche kombinationen ausprobiert ( verschiedene Programme gleichzeitig offen, etc... :D nichts, keine regelmäßigkeit )
wahrscheinlich sollte man das dann gar nicht machen, aber manchmal funktioniert es, wenn ich die Fn-taste und F7 drücke. ( keine ahnung wieso das geht)

vielleicht hat der laptop gar nichts, sondern zickt einfach.
danke aber für die mühe.

Wenn du deine Programme per Konsole startest bis sie sich aufhaengen um dann die eventuelle Fehlermeldung in der Konsole sehen zu koennen da ja nur das Programm stirbt und nicht das ganze System?

ich weiß, die frage ist sicherlich total dämlich, aber wie starte ich den z.b. opera aus der konsole ??? :eek:ps: dann würde ich das einfach so lange machen, bis er sich aufhängt. ( vermutlich dann nie mehr - wenn man drauf wartet.)
 
Starte eine Konsole, durch das Klicken des entsprechenden Icons in deinem Menue oder z.B. unter KDE mit der Testenkombination ALT+F2 und der dortigen Eingabe ins Feld vom zu startenden Tool. In deinem Fall dann konsole.
Ist die Konsole gestartet, hast du ein Bild das ausschaut wie die MS-DOS Eingabeaufforderung. In dieser Textkonsole kannst du Befehle eingeben oder Programme durch ihren Programmnamen starten.

dankeschön - für die beantwortung meiner selten dämlichen frage. also starte ich alles aus der konsole und warte bis sich das ding wieder aufhängt. ( aber hoffentlich tut er das erst morgen - sonst wird mein bericht heute nicht fertig.)

Zudem kannst du in der Konsole mal das Programm top starten und schauen was alles fuer Prozesse am laufen sind. Eventuell bleibt das System immer beim selben stehen?

das ist eindeutig ein berichte-schreibe-abhalte-proramm !!!! ( du arbeitest nicht zufällig dort, wo mein bericht morgen sein sollte ?????)da kann man ja immer zuschauen, was sich da ändert. ich werd mal ein auge drauf haben.
wenn er wieder macken macht, stell ich alles wichtige hierrein.

Das hier sollte man mal im Auge behalten, scheint zwar im Moment sauber gehändelt aber ungewöhnlich, der Rest ist Schnick-Schnack aber immer "Flash Player" :???: Funktioniert Sound im Opera überhaupt ???
