[gelöst] Suspend to Ram Problem Opensuse 11.0 Acer 5652.

ich lese hier schon den ganzen abend Artikel, wie ich das Suspend to Ram Problem lösen kann. Finde aber nichts...
Ich habe mittlerweile herausgefunden, dass mein Laptop Acer5652 AWLMI mit KDE 3, Opensuse 11 (Kernel Linux 2.6.25.11-0.1-pae i686) und 3D Desktop auf den Befehl

s2ram -f
genauso reagiert wie man es erwarten würde..... Also perfekt. Naja ok der Knetworkmanager kann sich danach manchmal nicht mehr verbinden..... Aber damit kann ich ersteinmal leben.....

Was ich allerdings bisher nicht herausgefunden habe ist, wie ich diesen Befehl entweder dem Schalter des Deckels oder der Tastenkombination FN und Sleep zuordne.
Ich habe in der Konfigurationsdatei von KPowersafe rumgebastelt und auch KPowersave deaktiviert, weil dann wohl andere Scripts ausgeführt werden (/usr/lib/pm-utils)....
Funktioniert hat nichts, außer eben in der Shell (als root) den oben genannten Befehl einzugeben......
Mein Rechner reagiert zwar wenn ich den Deckel schließe, steigt aber mit dem folgendem Fehler aus::

Ein unbekannter Fehler ist aufgetreten während Suspend to RAM. Der Fehlercode ist: '127'
Wollen Sie die Log Datei anschauen?

Hallo,

hatt bei meinen Maxdata genau die gleiche Fehlermeldung.

Habe im Verzeichniss:
/usr/lib/pm-utils/
die Datei " defaults " mit einem Editor geöffnet, und den Eintrag

# what options should be passed to s2ram?
# see http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram for more information
S2RAM_OPTS=""
geändert zu
S2RAM_OPTS="-f"

seither klappt es auch mit Suspend 2 Ram ohne Probleme.

Hallo,

habe gerade gelesen, dass die Dateie in /usr/lib/pm-utils nur angearbeitet werden, wenn KPowersave nicht aktiv ist.
Ich kann das irgendwie nicht bestätigen. Auch nach dem Beenden von KPowersave gehts bei mir nicht.

Weiere Ideen ?

Jetzt funktioniert es !!!!!

Ich hatte schon vorher einmal die Datei in /etc/sysconfig/powersafe/events bearbeitet. Als ich jetzt die original Version zurückgeschrieben hatte und den Tipp von oben berücksichtigt hatte ging es !!!

Vielen Dank !!!!

Achso ja ..... Das Problem, dass mein WLAN sich nicht mehr verbinden kann nach dem suoend ist immer noch da !

Für Tipps bin ich weiterhin dankbar !!!!

Fuer jedes Problem bitte einen eigenen Thread aufmachen.
Da wohl das S2RAM Problem geloest ist, bitte den ersten Beitrag entsprechend editieren und ein [gelöst] setzen.
