Amilo PA 2548 u. häufige Programmabstürze.

hallo! ich habe ein sehr nerviges problem, seit ich auf ein neues notebook umgestiegen bin. habe nun ein FSC amilo pa 2548 (AMD Turion 64 x2) das ein für mich völlig neues verhalten zeigt:
sowohl unter suse 10.3 als auch unter ubuntu 8.04 kommt der rechner mit rechenintensiven programmen nicht klar! da reichts schon, firefox (3.0, bzw. 2.?) und sound-juicer oder amarok und firefox oder auch k3B und rythmbox gleichzeitig laufen zu lassen, schon verabschiedet sich eines der zwei programme ohne vorwarnung.
der rechner wird außerdem so heiß, das es sich bedenklich anfühlt - auch über die arbeitsplatzanzeige ist die temperaturanzeige gut zu beobachten: sie schnellt hoch auf etwas über 70 °C und dann schmeißt es suse (und ubuntu).
häufiger werde ich auch in solchen fällen ganz aus der persönlichen oberfläche geworfen und lande wieder bei der anmeldung... :(

leider muss ich sagen, dass dieses problem bei vista (ja! war drauf...) nicht auftritt, auch wenn ich damit selten länger unterwegs bin, aber von der dauer des betriebs hängt das problem scheinbar nicht ab.

was kann ich tun?? :? mein viel schwächeres altes medion-notebook hatte nie probleme mit überhitzung oder zwei gleichzeitig ausgeführten programmen!

hat es etwas mit den zwei prozessoren zu tun? bin völlig überfragt...

Was fuer Bit Versionen der Distributionen hast du installiert, 32 oder 64?

Was fuer Kernel werden verwendet?

Hast du mal nachgeschaut ob irgend welche laufende Prozesse den Rechner auslasten und daher vl. auch die Temperatur entsprechend schnell steigt?

Ist den in /var/log Dateien vl. irgend etwas auffaelliges zu sehen?

ich hab die 32 bit - versionen installiert, liegt hier der fehler? ich dachte, das wäre die normale und damit auch richtige...

die kernel sind bei suse Linux 2.6.22.17-0.1-default i686 und bei ubuntu der 2.6.24.18 -irgendwas. hoffe, das reicht dir als auskunft. :wink:

bei den prozessen hab ich versucht durchzusteigen, kenn mich aber mit der systemüberwachung (noch) nicht sonderlich gut aus. könnte beagle ein kandidat sein?
ansonsten hab ich nichts auffälliges entdecken können, nichts was die cpu-last so hochfährt...

bei den var/log meldungen gilt leider ähnliches, was meinen wissensstand angeht: worauf muß ich achten?

Nö, das ist Grundsätzlich nicht verkehrt.
Führe doch bitte mal die Programme welche abstürzen in der Konsole aus.
Das gibt eine Fehlermeldung und diese Postest du im Original.

hallo! war nun wieder arbeiten und hab währenddessen 5 stunden lang den mem-test laufen lassen - wie ich glaube, ohne dass es uns weiterbringt. ich versuche mal, die spalten hier wiederzugeben:
dauer 5:05:11 - cached 2047M - RsvdMem 257M - MemMap e820.Std - Cache on - ECC off - Test Std - Pass 6 - Errors 0 - ECC Errs

ich werd nicht wirklich schlau daraus, aber fehler hat es doch wohl keine gegeben, oder?

könnt ihr mir bei der exegese helfen :wink: ?

das ists momentan. wenn ich von der arbeit zurück bin, kann ichs nochmal mit den "gefährdeten" programmen wie k9copy oder amarok zusammen probieren, also unter last.

Ausser dem üblichen Verdächtigen sehe ich da nichts.
Benutzt du Beagle oft wenn nicht schmeiss ihn runter der frisst nur unnötig Ressourcen.
Benutzt du nur KDE oder auch Gnome bzw. Gnome Programme ich sehe Bonobo ist bei dir aktiviert.

ich benutze beagle eigentlich nie - werd ihn mal runterwerfen. gnome benutze ich unter suse nicht, nur einige gnome-programme.
unter ubuntu 8.04 hab ich aber (klar) gnome als oberfläche. da ich auch bei ubuntu diese rauswürfe und abstürze habe, kann es mit der gewählten oberfläche wohl nicht zu tun haben, oder?

könnte es denn an defekter hardware liegen, auch wenn der mem-test keinen fehler angezeigt hat?

Das liegt nahe.
Ich würde an deiner Stelle mal eine Live Distribution wie Sidux nutzen und mal einen längeren Test(Viele Programme aufrufen) damit fahren.
Danach kann man zumindest wenn es da auch Auftritt sagen das es Hardware bedingt ist.
Ich kann mir beim besten Willen fast nichts anderes vorstellen.

hallo!

hat nun leider länger gedauert, aber ich habe beim versuch, live-dvds zu brennen gemerkt, dass mein brenner womöglich ein ärgeres problem hat - auch unter vista. die abstürze gibt es aber auch ohne anteilnahme des laufwerks.

abgesehen davon ist es mir nicht gelungen, mit nem live-system den gleichen absturz hervorzurufen :? ! auch bei voller programmauslastung kein fehler...

kann es an der festplatte liegen? und wenn, wie kann ich die überprüfen?

oder was seht ihr noch für möglichkeiten, was sagt ihr dazu?
