USB-Festplatte lässt sich nicht mehr mounten

Hallo Leute!!!
Meine Externe lief bis vor kurzem problemlos.
Dann wollt ich sie an einen alten PC mit ArkLinux im Live-Modus
anschließen, dort kam aber der Fehler, dass sie in NTFS formatiert ist.
Naja, dann halt nicht, hab ich mir gedacht und die Festplatte ausgemacht.
Als ich sie wieder an meinen Laptop mit Suse 10.3 anschließen
wollte, kam der Fehler: Cannot mount Volume
mit folgendem Detail:

NTFS signature is missing. Failed to mount '/dev/sdb1':
Das Argument ist ungültig The device '/dev/sdb1'
doesn`t have a valid NTFS. Maybe you selected the
wrong device? Or the whole disk instead of a partition
(e.g. /dev/hda, not /dev/hda1)? Or the other way around?

Wenn ich sie manuell mounten will kommt:

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb1,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
Manchmal liefert das Syslog wertvolle Informationen – versuchen
Sie dmesg | tail oder so

dmesg | tail gibt folgendes aus:

Daraus werd ich aber nicht schlau.
Bei Windows sagt er mir nur, dass das Medium micht formatiert
ist und ob ich nun formatieren will.
Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?
Ich habe sehr wichtige Daten darauf.

Die HDD ist wahrscheinlich nicht vernüftig ausgehangen worden.
Welches Filessystem hatt die HDD, NTFS?
