Digicams funktionieren nicht unter Suse 10.3

Hallo zusammen,

nach längerer Auszeit melde ich mich hier mal wieder mit einem Problem
bei dem ich eigenständig nicht auf eine Lösung komme :(

Mein Problem:

Seit ich mir Suse 10.3 installiert habe (komplette Neuinstallation) erkennt Suse
meine beiden Digitalkameras (Olympus u. Panasonic) nicht mehr bzw. sie
werden in der Geräteübersicht angezeigt doch "lesen" lassen sie sich nicht.

Recherchieren im Internet hat mir bisher auch noch nicht geholfen und Versuche
das ganze durch Ausprobieren zu lösen scheiterten ebenfalls.

(etc/fstab editieren, Installation div. Software wie GPhoto oder gphotolib2)

Hallo,


Wenn ich eine der Kameras anschliesse werden im /media keine
Verzeichnisse angelegt.

Andere USB-Geräte wie USB-Sticks oder ext. Festplatten funktionieren jedoch
problemlos (es werden auch Verzeichnisse in /media erstellt).

Mein geschildertes Problem bezieht sich ausschließlich auf Kameras.
Davor hatte ich Suse 10.1 und hatte nie Probleme mit Digicams.

Im /media liegt noch eine Konfigurationsdatei die Ihnen möglicherweise weiterhilft

Das brachte mir leider auch keine Lösung. digiKam meldet weiterhin, dass es keine Verbindung mit meiner USB-Kamera aufnehmen kann. Führe ich die automatische Erkennung in digiKam aus, wird seltsamerweise die Kamera sehr wohl erkannt.

Meine Datei /etc/PolicyKit/PolicyKit.conf sieht nun so aus:

Ein testweises starten von digiKam als root hat funktioniert aber,daher handelt es sich wahrscheinlich tatsächlich um ein Berechtigungsproblem?!

Noch eine Anmerkung: wenn ich mich statt mit KDE mit GNOME einlogge kann ich dort als normaler User die Bilder der Kamera auslesen.

Hallo zusammen,

inzwischen bin ich durch "Rumprobieren" zu einer Übergangslösung gekommen,
mit der ich erfolreich Bilder transferieren kann :D

Bei beiden Kameras die ich besitze gibt es die Möglichkeit "Bilder an einen
USB-Drucker" zu übergeben. Wenn ich diesen Modus in den Kameraeinstellungen
einstelle kann ich problemlos Bilder übertragen.
(die Kamera wird erkannt und zeigt auch die Bilder an)

Ganz zufrieden bin ich mit der Lösung jedoch nicht,
da das Übertragen und das Laden (Anzeige bei :/sysinfo)
länger dauert als bisher.

leider habe ich auch das Problem.
Meine Kamera: Canon Powershot A570IS.
Die Datei /etc/PolicyKit/PolicyKit.conf habe ich laut der Anleitung geändert.
Leider auch ohne Erfolg.
Hat denn schon jemand das Problem gelöst, und wie ?
Mein System ist auf dem neuesten Stand. Ich habe alle Updates gemacht.

Hallo,

mein Workaround ist derzeit, dass ich mit GNOME einwähle. Dort funktioniert das Auslesen der Digitalkamera problemlos - selbst mit der KDE-Anwendung digiKam. Ansonsten hoffe ich das noch jemand einen Tipp hat oder das irgendein KDE-Update in der Zukunft den Fehler behebt.

Falls es tatsächlich am KDE liegt, bleibt es ein Update abzuwarten,
oder die KDE-Quelle im Yast zuschalten und auf KDE 3.5.8
aktualisieren ( http://www.pro-linux.de/news/2007/11862.html ).

Hallo,
ich möchte mich mal kurz melden.
Meine Digicam funktioniert jetzt.
Ich habe KDE 3.5.8.
Außerdem kam bei mir dazu, das es ein Bedienfehler an der Kamera war.
Dort musste eine Umstellung von Aufnahme auf Wiedergabe vorgenommen werden.
Nachdem ich das gefunden hatte, gibt es bei mir keine Problem mehr.

Hallio zusammen,

ich hatte das gleiche Problem mit meiner Canon Powershot A 85 und dieser Thread hat mir sehr geholfen.

Nach dem update auf KDE 3.5.8 funktioniert der connect zur Kamera wieder.

Funktioniert bei mir mit KDE 3.5.7 bei der Powershot A85 ebenfalls, aber erst wieder seit opensuse 10.3. Unter 10.2 war die Kamera nach einem KDE -Update nur noch mit den übelsten Tricks dazu zu bewegen, ihre Bilder von sich zu geben.

Bei mir bleibt es leider auch nach KDE-Aktualisierung auf 3.5.8 dabei: Meine Digitalkamera kann unter Gnome ausgelesen werden, unter KDE jedoch nicht.
