USB Gamepad wird nicht erkannt

Hallo. Ich habe vorhin mein SpeedLink USB Gamepad eingesteckt, aber im Control-Center von KDE wird es nicht erkannt. Auch in Spielen kann ich es nicht verwenden. Unter Ubuntu wurde es aber einwandfrei erkannt. Was könnte das für einen Grund haben?

Braucht ihr irgendwelche Befehlsausgaben oder sowas? Kenn mich damit leider nicht so gut aus

Wenns hilft kann man das automatisieren indem man das Modul zu den MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT in /etc/sysconfig/kernel hinzufügt

Du hast mich gerettet. Mich würde nur noch interessieren: Warum wird das nicht standardmäßig geladen?

Normalerweise muss manuell eingerichtet werden über:
YaST->Hardware->Joystick

Da aber schon auf anderem Wege in Betrieb genommen........ :)

Da steht aber dass man bei USB Gamepads nichts machen muss. Das Steht in der Yast2 Joystickeinstellung

So ich habe folgendes Problem, ich besitze den X-Box 360 Kontroller von Microsoft und würde ihn ganz gerne unter Linux nutzen, aber irgendwie will er nicht so wie ich will.

habe ich ausgeführt doch das hat nicht geholfen (ist es eigentlich normal das man dort keine weitere Ausgabe erhält :?: )...

Wenn ich probiere die ganze Sache mit Yast zu machen gehe ich wie folgt vor:

Yast->Hardware->Joystick->Generischer Analoger Joystick ->Test

Dann bekomme ich nach dem Neustart des Soundsystems (wird verlangt) dei Meldung, dass keien Joystick angeschlossen ist :?:

Ja, eine Meldung kommt nur im Fehlerfall.

Weil kein Joystick am Gameport der SK angeschlossen ist ... :mrgreen:

Das YaST Modul Joystick ist nur für den Gameport zuständig, nicht für Geräte die via USB angeschlossen werden. Sollte man IMHO klarer machen, Gameports dürften ja inzwischen fast ausgestorben sein...

Abgesehen davon wird ein Xbox Controller kaum als "Generischer Analoger Joystick" durchgehen...

Wo liegt das Problem? Das notwendige xpad Modul ist bei openSUSE 10.3 vorhanden.

in den kernel laden, führt allerdings nicht dazu, dass sich der Xbox kontroller benutzen lässt....
Also er wird nicht über das KDE-Kotrollzentrum erkannt oder von Zsnes wie in einem meiner vorhergehenden Beiträge zu lesen ist...
