Hallo zusammen,

ich hab mir einen Iimaya E2200 WS Monitor gekauft (22" 1680x1050).
Jetzt habe ich das Problem, dass wenn ich vom Notebook aus auf den Hauptmonitor mit Funktionsste + F10 umschalte am Monitor ein Bild mit Auflösung 1280x1024 langezogen angezeigt wird.
Wenn ich im Sax2 bin erkennt er den Bildschirm und auch die Richtige Aufllöung ist eingestellt, wenn ich allderings auf Test drücke dann zeigt er wieder seine beschissenen 1280x1024 am Notebook Display an (der externe 22"er WS geht dann aus).

Kann mir hierzu bitte irgendjemand helfen!
Es ist zum Heulen! So ein schöner Bildschirm und so ein beschissenes Bild.

Hi Oli-nux,

hab ich schon gelesen, da gehts aber bitte korregiere mich wenn ich falsch liege um ein widescreendisplay im Notebook selbst.
Ich hab ja ein externes Display.

wenn ich in Linux alles richtig verstanden habe dann stellt sich die Frage was kann das BIOS der Grafikkarte?

Und wenn ich dich richtig verstanden habe dann hast du eine Intel GM855.

Installier mal das Prog. 855resolution SuSE 10.0 (ab SuSE 10.1 heist es glaube ich 915resolution).

und Poste mal die ausgabe von:
855resolution -l (das ist ein kleines L)

Dann bekommst du die möglichen auflösungen deiner Grafikkarte angezeigt.

Eventuell muss das BIOS mit dem Prog. gepatcht werden, aber dazu später.
