Mausrad aufeinmal ohne Funktion

Nachdem ich heute meine System etwas nun ja, sagen wir mal geärgert habe (siehe hier) will meine Microsoft IntelliMouse nicht mehr richtig, genauer das Mausrad ist ohne Funktion, ich kann nicht mehr scrollen und der mittlere Klick zum einfügen ist auch weg :cry:. Unter Yast habe ich schon geguckt, da ist eigentlich alles beim alten und unter Windows funktioniert das ganze auch, also ist die Hardware in Ordnung.
Was nun?

Wie finde ich diese Dateimit der Konsole? Inzw. geht die Maus gar nicht mehr und ich bin mit "links" im Internet.
Jetzt ist es so, das der Click nur noch hin und wieder geht und wenn ich die Maus nach oben oder unten, rechts oder links bewege wird das als scrollen ausgelegt und hier springen die Fenster wild durcheinander.
Falls dieser Text verschoben aussieht liegt das an links nicht an mir :)

Ich habe nochmal die Systemreperatur drüberlaufen lassen, zumin. kann ich die Maus jetzt wieder gezielt über den Bildschirm schubsen :) hier ist nun also die xorg.conf:

ich habe 2 davon, eine unter /etc/x11 (das ist die da oben) und eine unter /var/lib/sax.

Mir ist auch noch aufgefallen, daß ich früher also z. B. bis gestern früh, nur den Powerknopf am Computer drücken mußte und er ist runter gefahren inzw. geht er dabei sofort aus, obwohl im Bios noch drin steht, daß er eigentlich runterfahren soll und unter Windows tut er das auch noch.

Edit:
Ich habe mal bei Grub Linux Filesafe ausgewählt und siehe da die Sache mit der Maus klappt aufeinmal wieder wenn ich unter Filesafe

eingebe dann gibt er mir beim Namen "ImExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse" aus mache ich das gleiche bei einem normalen Start in der Konsole dann ist der Name nur noch "P/S2 Generic Mouse". Ich weiß nicht ob das was zu sagen hat, aber es ist seltsam.
