Wie Konfiguriert man ein System mit 2 Bildschirmen

Hallo,

arbeite mit Suse 9.3, nur leider geht es im Moment nur auf dem extern angeschlossenem TFT. Und da auch nur in falsche Auflösung.

TFT hat normalerweise 1280x1024 und das eingebaute TFT 1024x800

Wie kann ist das dem Yast2 bei bringen ??

So habe inzwischen auf Suse 10.0 umgestellt,
aber Problem ist ähnlich geblieben.
Beide Bildschirme gehen jetzt, aber sehen ziemlich verzerrt aus, die Auflösungen stimmen nicht??

Wie ghet man da am besten ran ??

Willst Du uns verraten, welche Grafikkarte Du benutzt?
# lspci
oder so etwas....
Normallerweise müsste sich ein DualHead-Modus einstellen lassen.

Hm, da gibt es ein paar besonderheiten zu der Karte.Ich habe sie mal voreinem Jahr in meinem Notebook gehabt. Da gab es einiges nicht, was es heute an Treibern gibt
Jetzt habe ich was anderes.
Aber ich glaube jemand hat schon ausführlich zu dem Chip hier im Forum berichtet.
Ausserdem gibt es wohl bei SuSE 10.0 spezielles Paket in Yast, das die Karten irgendwie ünterstützt.
Ansonsten bin ich leider überfragt.

Also wenn ich Suse 10 boot und schon beim Booten auf den externen TFT stelle, stimmt alles!
Boote ich aber mit dem internen Display stimmt nichts, geht nur auf eine Auflösung von 1024x768 Punkten.

Im Yast bietet er zwar XGA (1280x800<9 an, aber wenn man dann auf Test drückt kommt wieder nur 1024x768.??

Ausserdem Zeigt der Yast nur Bildschirm 1 an, warum nicht beid euns lässt einen die konfiguraierne ??

Weiss jemand Rat ??
