Externer Monitor an meinem Laptop

Hallo,

ich habe auf meinem Laptop (Eurobook von MBO) SuSe 9.3 laufen. Jetzt habe ich einen 21 Zoll Monitor bekommen, den ich anstatt des LaptopMonitores nutzen möchte.
Ich kann über bestimmte FunktionsTasten den internen Monitor abschalten, so das nur noch der externe Monitor läuft.
Sobald ich allerdings unter SuSe bei KDE angemeldet bin, sind wieder beide Monitore an, oder über die Funktionstasten beide aus. Es ist dann irgendwie nicht mehr möglich, nur den internen Monitor auszuschalten.
Sobald ich dann den Rechner wieder runterfahre und KDE beendet ist, geht der interne Monitor wieder aus und es bleibt nur der externe an.

Ich denke, das wird irgenwie Einstellungssache bei KDE sein, aber ich finde nicht, wo ich das einstellen kann.
Vielleicht hat von Euch jemand einen Tip für mich.

Grafik / Monitor / Eingabegeräte werden nicht vom KDE gesteuert , sondern über
X-Server, der die Grundlage für "Fensteraaufbau" bildet.
Suche nach xorg.conf (Konfigurationsdatei dazu) mit der Suchfunktion des Forums.

Das ich zwei mal der gleiche Beitrag eingestellt habe, war ein Versehen ! ! !
Als ich ihn unter "Laptop" einstellen wollte, ist mir meine Internetverbindung abgestürzt.
Als ich mich neu eingewählt habe, wollte ich gucken ob der Beitrag online ist und bin dann wohl in die falsche Rubrik geraten, ohne es zu merken. Da ich meinen Beitrag dort nicht gesehen habe, habe ich ihn natürlich noch mal reingesetzt.

In dem Sinne hoffe ich trotz Doppelposting auf Hilfe.

Was muss ich denn genau ändern damit nur noch der externe Monitor läuft ? ? ?
