(gelöst) SuSE 9.3 mit OKI B4250

gelöst mit ghostscript-update

Hallo Forum,

neues System, SuSE 9.3 frisch installiert.

Daran hängt (parallel) ein OKI B4250 Laserdrucker. PPD ist von OKI und hat an einem anderen PC unter SuSE 9.1 und Windows hervorragend funktioniert.

Leider kriege ich ihn nicht dazu zu drucken.

Habe hier die Threads die sich mit dem Problem befassen gelesen, die Tipps befolgt.
Versucht bisher:

- Druckerkomponenten de- und neu installiert
- geschaut ob cups am richtigen Port horcht
- Cups als Server und Client-Variante getestet
- Firewall Port offen und zu, Firewall an und aus

Es kommt keine Fehlermeldung, er scheint den Druckauftrag anzunehmen, aber dann passiert nichts mehr.

Weiss jemand Rat?

Ich habe inzwischen vom Cups-Projekt gehört, dass das ein bekanntes Problem sei.

Liegt wohl an der "customizten" ESP-Ghostscript-Version die SuSE mit 9.3 ausliefert.

ich hoffe, dass das kein ein-Mann-Thread wird.

Kurioses Phänomen...

Wenn ich SuSE neu starte, und es hängt noch ein Druck-Job vom vorigen Mal in der Warteschlange, druckt der Drucker als erstes diese Seite aus. Von ganz alleine.

Sobald ich dann aber versuche wieder was zu drucken geht nichts mehr. Ich bin echt ratlos.
