Scanner HP Color CM 1312nfi MFP will unter 12.2 nicht mehr

openSUSE 12.2_64, hplip 3.1.4, All-in-one Gerät HP Color LaserJet CM 1312nfi MFP
Scanner per Ethernet-Hub (FritzBox) angeschlossen

Bis SUSE 12.1 ging das...

Wenn ich mit Yast den Scanner suche wird er nicht erkannt - weder von genesys noch hpaio noch net.
Ich muss aus Yast (Button: Andere) hpsetup starten. Per Network/Ethernet.. und manueller Eingabe der IP-Adresse wird er dann gefunden.
Mit: "Download and install the plugin from an HP authorized server" darf ich die Lizenzvereinbarung abnicken und erhalte die Meldung "Plug-in installation successful."
Danach kommt aber die Fehlermeldung "The printer you are trying to setup requires a binary driver plug-in and it failed to install." Nun bin ich in einer Endlosschleife. Ich kann nur abbrechen.

Irgendwo hatte ich als Abhilfe

gefunden. Das läuft mit zahlreichen Warnungen durch, bringt aber auch keine Lösung.

Jetzt brauche ich die Hilfe der Experten.... bitte.

Liegt das evt. daran, dass unter 12.2 Systemdateien an anderer Stelle sind?

Ich interpretiere das so: er lädt die Dateien korrekt herunter - kann sie aber nicht auf socket://192.168.21.25:9100 installieren. Dies ist mein o.g. Drucker zuhause; die anderen sind im Büro und hier nicht erreichbar.
Den Drucker kann ich per Ping erreichen .... Er druckt ja auch.

Schritt 1 & 2 haben bei meinem x64 System sofort zum Erfolg geführt. Prima.

Beim X32 System (älterer Desktoprechner) stürzt Schritt 2 und auch 3 zwischendrin ab

Ist das ein Dienst, den ich unter dem Runlevel-Editor sehen sollte? Den gibt es dort nicht. Es gibt ihn aber auch nicht auf dem Rechner, mit der Scanner funktioniert. Wo/wie finde ich die Antwort auf diese Frage?

saned ist bei den Sane Utils mit dabei. Poste mal die Ausgabe von

Code:

rpm -qa | grep sane

. Der saned muss nicht unbedingt im Runleveleditor aufgeführt sein. Im Runleveleditor sind nur die Services aufgelistet, für die auch ein Init-Script existiert.

Jetzt drehen wir uns im Kreis :???:
Wenn ich, wie dort empfohlen, unter Yast "Scannen via Netzwerk einrichten" starte, dann findet er keinen Scanner, obwohl ich die IP-Adresse desselben eingetragen habe. Wenn ich dann unter "Konfiguration des Scanners", "Andere" hpsetup starte, dann findet er den Scanner und ich habe dieselbe Situation wie in Nachricht #1 beschrieben.

Ich komme hier nicht mehr weiter.
