CANON MP 640

SUSE 12.1 Notebook HP 635 - AMD

Der Drucker wurde erkannt, druckt aber nicht.

Jetzt bin ich (auch noch Anfänger) ratlos.

Weiß jemand Rat?

- wie genau wurde der Drucker installiert?
- welche Treiber wurden benutzt?
- was waren die Fehlermeldungen?

Der Drucker wurde über OpenSuse 12.1 YaST / Hardware / Drucker installiert.
Treiber? Location: linux - 8zjm.site
Linux verfügt offensichtlich über den Treiber, denn
die Druckerbezeichnung wird sauber angezeigt: "CANON MP640 series"

Keine Fehlermeldung.
Der Drucker werkelt vor sich hin, druckt aber beharrlich nicht.
Weder einen Testdruck noch ein Dokument.

Ich sehe mir jetzt die CANON-Seite an.

Ich habe mal wieder versucht ...mit Hilfe der automatischen Druckererkennung und Installation.
Ohne Erfolg.
Der Drucker wurde erkannt. Div.Treiber stehen zur Verfügung.
Der Druckauftrag wird versandt, gerendert ---- und dann passiert nix mehr. Absolute Ruhe.
Keine Ahnung, was eine dirty file ist., Jedenfalls nicht bei LINUX.
