[gelöst] Mauszeiger friert ein auf meinem Thinkpad Edge 11

Hallo an alle,

ich habe ein ThinkPad Edge 11 mit 11.4 und von Zeit zu Zeit friert der Mauszeiger für ca. 3 Sekunden ein. Danach geht wieder alles normal. Der restliche Desktop friert nicht ein. Ich habe herausgefunden, dass der Prozess 'kseriod' immer dann viel CPU braucht wenn der Mauszeiger einfriert. Das heißt ich habe den Verdacht, dass der etwas damit zu tun haben könnte. Ich habe ein Trackpad und ein Mousepad, die frieren beide gleichzeitig ein...

Nein, eigentich nicht. Es ist eine ATI Mobility Radeon HD4200. Ich habe jetzt auch einmal den proprietären Treiber installiert, was aber nichts geholfen hat.

Hast du das gleiche Problem?

Mal eine Frage an die Betroffenen: benutzt Ihr KDE mit Effekten z.B. 3D-Würfel und es friert immer nach dem Würfel ein?

Beim Effekt "Arbeitsflächen-Würfel" die Option "Name der Arbeitsfläche anzeigen" abschalten hilft eventuell. Zumindest bei mir.

Ich habe die Arbeitsflächeneffekte gesamt deaktiviert... Daran kann es zumindest in meinem Fall also nicht liegen.

Ich hätte das jetzt versucht aber es hat leider nichts geholfen... die Datei hatte ich auch schon vorher, jedoch war der Inhalt leicht anders. Die Änderung hat soweit ich jetzt sagen kann keinen Effekt gehabt.

Zum Vergrößern anklicken....

Wenn du eine Konfig für diese Maus int /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d angelegt hast, die Maus aber erst später eingesteckt wird, dann ist es naheliegend, dass der Freeze durch diesen Fehler verursacht wird.

Ich habe aber (manuell) keine Konfigurationsfiles für irgendwelche Mäuse angelegt... vermutest du, dass sich das Trackpad und das Touchpad irgendwie in die Quere kommen?

Habe seit geraumer Zeit das gleiche Problem bei meinem Thinkpad Edge 11, was mich tierisch stört.
Ich weiss auch ungefähr woran es liegt, aber habe keine Lösung:
Bei Windows 7 wie auch bei Ubuntu hatte ich das gleiche Problem das der Mauszeiger für ein paar Sekunden lang einfriert.
Bei Windows 7 habe ich den von Lenovo mitgelieferten Treiber mit dem von der Synaptics Seite ersetzt, seitdem kein Problem mehr.

Bei Linux bleibt das Problem bei mir weiter bestehen, das Syslog zeigt immer wenn die Maus aussetzt folgenden Fehler:

hab schon viel dazu gegooglet aber nur ne menge unnütze aussagen gefunden.

Geht nicht, ich habe diesen Thread nicht erstellt und daher auch nicht die notwendiege Berechtigung. Ich hatte lediglich das gleiche Problem wie der Ersteller.

- If you use CPU frequency scaling, avoid using the "ondemand" governor and use the "performance" governor when possible, as the touchpad may lose sync when the CPU frequency changes.
- Avoid using an ACPI battery monitor.
- Attempt to load psmouse with "proto=imps" option. To do that, add this line to your /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf:
