[gelöst]USB-Festplatte angeschlossen und jetzt kein USB mehr

Wie im Betreff angedeutet:

Habe meine externe Festplatte falsch angeschlossen (erst den usb eingesteckt, dann den Strom angeschlossen) und seitdem wird kein usb-Gerät mehr erkannt. Kein stick und nichts anderes mehr, was über usb läuft. Ein paar Befehle hab ich ausgeführt aber werd da nicht schlau draus.

Könnt ihr einem PC und Linux-Newbie bitte helfen? Kann ich das mounten oder hat es irgendwas irreparabel zerschossen?

Habe opensuse 11.0 Unter Hardwarinformation unter Yast werden die Treiber und Module aufgelistet undbei den Modulen erscheint dass sie geladen sind...


Bitte bitte um Hilfe! Kann ich es retten? was muss ich tun?

Ja, die Reihenfolge ist richtig - und die entsprechenden Meldungen sehen eigentlich recht gut aus, die Platte wird zumindest vom System korrekt erkannt. Was jedoch fehlt, ist die entsprechende Meldung des HAL-daemons, dass das Ding auch entsprechend gemounted wird. Ich tippe daher nicht auf ein mechanisches Problem, sondern auf ein Problem mit den entsprechenden policies. Poste doch mal Deine /usr/share/PolicyKit/policy/org.freedesktop.hal.storage.policy.

Übrigens finde ich, dass auch die Reihenfolge Deiner Anschlussart des Mediums nicht falsch war - meine externe Platte steckt immer im USB-Verteiler, und die hat einen Anschaltknopf, d.h. die ist angeschlossen und dann kommt erst der Strom. Sollte doch eigentlich das gleiche bewirken. *mutmaß*

Da würd ich mal den Datenträger mit fsck überprüfen. Hast du mal den Anschluss von anderen USB Medien getestet? Welche Meldungen kommen denn da?

hört sich aber nicht normal an. Ich würde mal versuchen, eine vernünftige Partitionstabelle anzulegen.
Sollte allerdings mit dem eigentlichen Problem nichts oder nur am Rande zu tun haben.

Funktioniert denn auch keine USB-Maus oder Tastatur mehr oder wie genau äußert sich 'jetzt kein USB mehr' genau?

Aaaaalso:

die oben gepostete Ausgabe habe ich mit einem normalen usb-stick durchgeführt. Ich poste euch das ganze jetzt nochmal mit der externen/blöden/problematischen Festplatte. Sie macht übrigens ganz komische Geräusche, als ob sie sich aufgehängt hat als an irgendeiner Stelle festhängt beim laden.

Habe jetzt mal ne USB-Maus angeschlossen. Funktioniert ohne Probleme. Habe sie an drei Usb_anschlüssen des PC's ausprobiert und funzt.

Habe das gleiche auch noch mal mit dem USB-Stick gemacht aber ohne Erfolg. Seh ihn nirgendwo, kann ihn nicht auswählen....

Gilt aber nach wie vor nicht für die Festplatte......

(Man ich bin schon froh, dass ich wieder nen USB-Stick auswählen kann) Aber, ganz sicher: der defekte USB-Stick und die Festplatte hatten nichts miteinander zu tun, als ich sie eingesteckt habe. Erfolgte zeitlich sehr versetzt (komisch oder)....

Den "defekten" Stick einstecken (gemounted wird er ja nicht) und dann fsck /dev/sdb ausführen. Deine internen Platten lass mal außen vor.
Die andere Platte wird gar nicht erkannt. Die scheint defekt zu sein. Kannst die ja mal testweise an einen anderen Rechner anschließen.

SuperBlock ist unlesbar bzw. beschreibt kein gültiges ext2
Dateisystem.  Wenn Gerät gültig ist und ein ext2
Dateisystem (kein swap oder ufs usw.) enthält,  dann ist der SuperBlock
beschädigt, und sie könnten e2fsck mit einem anderen SuperBlock:
    e2fsck -b 8193 <Gerät>

Den stick hatte ich an meinem dvd-player angeschlossen...vllt ist er da kaputt gegangen...ich könnte ihn mit windows formatieren, das will windows zumindest, weiß nicht ob ich ihn dann wieder benutzen kann...

so ein mist mit der externen....alle Daten futsch? Nicht so toll..... da kann ich ja doch wieder alles aufd dvd brennen...sind ja nicht sicher die Platten....kann ich die Daten denn noch retten irgendwie? dachte vllt unter windows ein toll installieren, damit ich ext3 lesen kann und dann alles runter laden...aber wenn die Platte kaputt ist....

Bevor du irgendwas löschst und neu partionierst, sagst du uns erst mal was für ein Dateisystem auf dem Stick bzw. der Festplatte ist.

Evtl. können wir deine Daten noch sichern.

Ja das wäre natürlich toll, wenn ich noch irgendwie die daten sichern könnte von der externen festplatte....

also die Festplatte ist mit ext3 formatiert und partiniert... der stick, den hab ich gar nicht partioniert, den hab ich mal von nem Freund übernommen, also ist der noch so wie er immer war, schätze ich mal...hat auch immer gefunzt bisher.....nur halt dann irgendwann nicht mehr, so dass ich ja eben dachte mit meinen usb-anschlüssen ist was nicht i.O. aber ein anderer funzt ja....

Wenn dein Freund den Stick nicht mit einem anderen Dateisystem formatiert hat, wird es ein FAT Dateisystem sein, da auch fsck kein Linux Dateisystem erkennt.

Wenn du den Stick eingesteckt hast, poste mal die Ausgabe von

fsck.vfat /dev/sdb

/dev/sdb kannst du nur verwenden, wenn es auch die Gerätedatei des Sticks ist. Das kannst du anhand der Ausgabe von

dmesg

ermitteln.

kann es sein, dass du den Stick, wenn der am Rechner war einfach immer mal so abgezogen hast, ohne diesen zu trennen?
Wenn ja, hast du dir evtl das Dateisystem beschädigt. Wenn du keine wichtigen Daten darauf hast, würde ich den einfach mal versuchen zu formatieren. Funktioniert ja auch auf einer Windows Kiste.

Hab ich auch schon gedacht.... ne unter linux habe ich das nie aber kann sein, dass der dvd-player das geschrottet hat, da ich den da immer so rausziehe (wüßte nicht dass die da ne extra-funktion für hätten, wär mir aufgefallen) aber ist wirklich nicht tragisch, formatier ich neu.,...


geht das auch unter linux? habt ihr das im wiki, kann ich das nachlesen? mach eigentlich alles lieber mit linux....ist schneller und besser


Hm und jetzt das eigentliche Hauptproblem: wie kann ich die daten von der externen festplatte sichern?

Die macht komische Geräusche irgendwie....hm.... würtd mich auch einfach mal interessieren was die hat...sowas doofes, dabei war die doch gar nicht so billig....

Komische Geräusche bei Festpatten sind kein gutes Zeichen.

Du steckst die Patte ein, aber nicht mounten. Danach ziehst du dir ein Image der Platte bzw. den Partitionen. Das kannst du mit dd oder mit anderen Tools machen. Bezüglich Backups findest im Wiki unter Backup mehr.

label kann bis zu 11 Stellen lang sein. Eigentlich sollte der YaST-Partitionierer das alles aber auch können.

Da kann die Festplatte selbst auch etwas abbekommen haben. Du kannst versuchen, ob die Festplatte vielleicht doch einmal erkannt wird, und dann den Rat von spoensche umsetzen. Du kannst versuchen, die Festplatte aus dem Gehäuse zu entnehmen und je nach Typ als IDE- oder SATA-Platte intern anzuschließen.
