Intel Atom 330 CPU und KPowersave

Hallo,

ich habe mir einen kleinen Fileserver auf Basis eines Intel D945GCLF2 Mainboards
mit integrierter Intel Atom 330 CPU gebaut.

Bei KPowersave in KDE4 ist mir ausgefallen, das die CPU immer auf
höchstgeschwindigkeit, also auf 1,6GHz läuft.
Und das auch im leerlauf, obwohl ich "Energiesparen" bei KPowersave
eingestellt habe. Es wird einfach nicht heruntergetaktet.
Auf meinen AMD systemen klappt das Problemlos.

Geht das nicht bei Intel Atom CPUs ?

Ist im Bios SpeedStep an?

Also in dem bios hier gibts keine Speedstep einstellmöglichkeit.

(auf meinem anderen intel system mit Core2Duo gibts diese
option zwar und sie steht auf enabled, aber dort lässt sich die
CPU übrigends auch nicht von KPowersave runtertakten)

Führe auf beiden Rechnern die Befehle

aus. Wenn nichts herauskommt, ist mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit "SpeedStep" im BIOS deaktiviert ("enabled" heißt nicht unbedingt, daß diese Einstellung auch wirkt) oder die ACPI-Implementierung paßt nicht oder es ist eine feststehende CPU-Frequenz eingestellt. Daß HAL mit Deinem BIOS bzw. dessen ACPI-Tabellen nicht zurechtkommt, ist eher unwahrscheinlich.

Da kommt bei beiden Befehlen "no such file or directory"
