Alesis io|2 usb-audio - nur teilweise Sound

Flashvideos -> Bild aber kein Ton
leider komm ich bei dem Problem trotz googelei nicht weiter, aber vieleicht hat hier jemand eine Idee.
Vorab noch folgende Infos:

1. Onbord VIA-Sound per BIOS deaktiviert.
2. alsaconf findet kein Audiogerät
3. KDE Audioeinstellung auf Auto.
4. Yast2: USB Audio, Als Soundkarte Nummer 0 konfiguriert, Treiber snd-usb-audio (modul ohne manuellen Eingriff)

5. Ausgabe relevanter Meldungen in /var/log/messages:

7. QAMix, KAMix zeigen nur leeres Feld ohne Regler
8. Alsaplayer funktioniert, Alsamixer startet NICHT
9. Pulseaudio Lautstärkereglung: Playback Null Output, Masterregler vorhanden jedoch ohne Funktion
10. Flashplayer Plugin v.10 installiert.

Er meint wohl hwinfo an sich. Aber da keine Rückmelung kam, wird es wohl installiert sein. Wird das Gerät unter mit lsusb angezeigt? Dann auch bitte noch hwinfo --usb

hwinfo ist installiert - wenn ich als root den Befehl eingebe spulen sich in der nächsten Zeile in sekundenschnelle auch div. Meldungen ab, bleiben jedoch nicht stehen, sondern es erscheint nur die nächste Zeile der Eingabeaufforderung so wie in meinem Posting.

Wenn alsa-utils installiert sind, gibts als Root auch ein schönes Script alsa-info.sh
Das liefert auch ne Menge Informationen (sogar automatisch per NoPaste).

Wirklich ich verstehe da nicht.
Hwinfo findet nichts, die snd_usb Module sind allerdings korrekt eingebunden.

Das ist IMHO auch OK.
