Festplatte defekt?

Hallo!

Gestern ist plötzlich mein KDE 4.2 vollkommen eingefroren und auch Strg+Alt+Backspace hat nicht mehr geholfen. Nach einem Reset hat mein BIOS

angezeigt. Dann habe ich einfach das Gehäuse geöffnet und mal alle Stecker aus- und eingesteckt und ein erneuter Boot des System verlief erfolgreich. Alles funktioniert ganz normal, nur habe ich große Bedenken, dass die Festplatte in nächster Zeit vollständig eingehen könnte.

Lies dazu mal die Dokumentation, was nur Warnungen bzw. wirkliche Fehler sind. Ich würde zusätzlich nochmal das Dateisystem mittels geeigneter Livecd (da die Festplatte unmounted sein muß!) od. der Installationsdvd mit e2fsck && fsck testen.
 
Naja, solche Sachen sehen schon ziemlich bedenklich aus:

...allerdings gab es hier doch neulich mal einen thread, wo darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass Seagate-Platten per default solche errors "vormerkt" oder sowas (ich hab den Zweck dessen nicht so ganz verstanden und finde den thread gerade nicht). Ist das zufälligerweise eine Seagate?

Lass doch einfach mal zusätzlich ein Festplatten Tool des Herstellers drüber laufen dann hast du Gewissheit. ;)

Danke erst mal für eure Hilfe!
Richtig erraten, es ist eine Seagate :)

Ich hab ziemlich viel gegoogelt und man findet leider keine durchgehende Dokumentation über SMART-Errors. Aber ich habe teilweise verwahrloste Foren entdeckt, wo zaghaft darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass ICRC-Fehler eher auf Kabelprobleme deuten, als auf eine defekte Platte.

Hab die Tools von Seagate heruntergeladen und alle Tests wurden mit PASSED abgeschlossen. Was passiert eigentlich bei einem long-offline-Test? Ich kann mir nämlich nicht vorstellen, dass die gesamte Platte innerhalb weniger Minuten vollständig geprüft werden kann...

Der Offline Test sammelt lediglich Informationen über die HDD während mit dem mit dem short self-test und dem long self-test die HDD auf Fehler überprüft werden kann.

Hi,
zumindest nach dem was ich so im WWW gelesen habe und nachplapper, hat Seagate lediglich eine hohe Rate "Hardware_ECC_Recoveredvon "-Fehlern, die entsprechend wohl unbedenklich sein sollte... die beiden anderen Fehler hingegen scheinen bedenklich zu sein und du solltest tunlichst ein Backup erstellen und die Platte evtl. einschicken ;)
