Nachträgliche Installation von Packages in UNIX

Hallo Forum,

ich muss auf einem Solaris 10 top, man, ssh, gzip und co. nachinstallieren.
Die Erstinstallation erfolgte netzwerkbasiert.

Wie kann ich diese Packages jetzt nachträglich installieren, ohne mir die einzelen Pakete runterzuladen?

Was war das denn für eine Netzwerk-Installation?
Außer top (das ist auf der Solaris Companion Software CD) sollten die von dir erwähnten Pakete bei der Grundinstallation dabei sein.

Sind sie es nicht, wird dir ein Download nicht erspart bleiben.

es war eine netzwerkbasierte Installation, wofür man einen Bootserver benötigt!

Ich habe folgendes in der Anleitung gefunden (nach sehr langem Suchen!).

Steps
Become superuser or assume an equivalent role.

Roles contain authorizations and privileged commands. For more information about roles, see "Configuring RBAC (Task Map)" in System Administration Guide: Security Services.

Decide to install software from a CD, a DVD, or from the network. Select one of the following:

If you are installing from a CD, insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive.

If you insert the Solaris 10 Languages CD, the Solaris installation GUI starts automatically. Proceed to Step 5.

If you are installing from a DVD, insert the DVD into the DVD-ROM drive.

If you are installing from the network, locate the net image of the software you want to install.

Change directories to find the Solaris installation GUI installer.

Solaris installation GUI installers are located in various directories on the CDs and on the DVD.

Solaris 10 Software CDs or DVD.

Solaris 10 Documentation DVD.

Solaris 10 Languages CD. The Solaris installation GUI starts automatically when the CD is inserted.

Follow the instructions to install the software.

From the command line, type the following command

% ./installer [options]


-nodisplay Runs the installer without a GUI.

-noconsole Runs without any interactive text console device. Use this option with the -nodisplay option when you include the installer command in a UNIX script for installing software.


From a file manager, double-click Installer or installer.

An Installer window is displayed, followed by the Solaris installation GUI dialog box.

Follow the directions on the screen to install the software.

When you have finished adding software, click Exit.

The Solaris installation GUI exits.

Ich hoffe, dass ich diese Schritte nun irgendwie umsetzen kann.

Downloaden möchte ich alle PAckages nicht wirklich, wenn ich irgendwo auf einem anderen Server noch die Install - Dateien liegen habe.

Es muss ja auch irgendwie anders noch gehen!

Leider ist top bei Solaris 10 nicht Standard, zumindest nicht bei dem das wir haben :)

GNU-Tools, KDE, amaroK, OpenOffice, wireshark und ähnliches gibt es für Solaris auch bei http://www.blastwave.org für die Solarisuser die den Link noch nicht kennen. Dazu gibts dort auch ein nettes APT-ähnhliches Tool zur Softwarepaketverwaltung womit einem durchaus ein ganzer Haufen manueller Friemelei erspart bleibt ;-)
