ich installiere gerade einen Treiber, d.h. ich versuche es.
In der Installanweisung steht folgender Passus, den ich nicht verstehe:
"Before you compile the driver, change KERNELSRC in the makefile to your
path to the kernel build environment. If you are using a self compiled kernel,
point it to the root of your sources. If you are using a packaged kernel of
your distribution, install the package with kernel headers."
was ist Kernelsrc und DAS makefile und wo ist mein kernel built environment? woher soll ich wissen, ob ich einen selfcompiled kernel habe und wie soll ich ihn auf die root welcher sources pointen? usw.usf.
ich nutze SuseLinux 10.1 (kernel 2.6.irgendwas) und möchter die acer-hotkeys installieren, damit ich meine wlankarte ansteuern kann.
Für Hilfe bin ich wie immer dankbar;-)
