Hallo,
habe einen älteren PIII Rechner und vor ca. einem halben Jahr Suse 10.2 darauf installiert. Anfangs lief alles reibungslos. Seit ein paar Wochen wird die Kiste jedoch gerade beim booten merklich langsamer.
Ab und zu kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:
Beim Starten des GNOME-Einstellungsdämons ist ein Fehler aufgetreten.
Möglicherweise funktionieren einige Dinge, wie z.B. Themen, Klänge oder Hintergrundeinstellungen nicht korrekt.
Die letzte Fehlermeldung war:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
Beim nächsten Anmelden wird GNOME weiterhin versuchen, den Einstellungsdämon neu zu starten.
In den Log-Files (in denen ich mich nur sehr wenig auskenne)
stehen viele Meldungen zu IPv6. Ich habe den Auszug von heute aus dem logfile "warn" angehängt.
