PC geht aus / OpenSuse deinstallieren

Hallo,
vor kurzem war im CT Magazin OpenSuse 10.3 drin.
Hab ich mir gekauft und gleich, neben Vista (V. war schon drauf), als Partition auf mein neues (erstes) Notebook installiert.

Ich habe nun folgende(s) Problem(e):

1. NB an; Grub lädt; Auswahl Vista = alles läuft, keine Probleme.
ABER: NB an; Grub lädt; Auswahl Linux = startet normal, System läuft auch (scheinbar) normal ABER nach ca. 33 Minuten geht das NB plötzlich aus, egal ob ich ein Programm auf habe oder nicht (auch im Netzbetrieb). Erst dachte ich, es lag an der Hitze (es wurde ziemlich heiß), habs also nach einigem rumprobieren mal eingeschickt. Die haben alles getausch (CPU, GraKa, Mainboard), aber es wird immernoch ziemlich heiß (aber auch unter Vista, doch da gehts halt nicht aus).

Es ist mein erstes Linux, mein erster Laptop (eigener PC) und mein erster Eintrag in dem Forum (ich hoffe ich bin hier richtig).
Bei der Installation war ich bei der Partitionierung leicht verunsichert.

Evtl. auch interessant: Nach dieser (1.) Installation gab es noch keine Passwortabfrage beim Systemstart.

Ich habe mir gedacht, vielleicht ist irgendwas schief gelaufen und hab dann alles nochmal drüberinstalliert. Danach kam wenigstens die Passwortabfrage, aber mein eigentliches Problem, dass der PC ausgeht, hatte ich immernoch.

2. Ich hatte genug von Linux (obwohl es mir an sonsten sehr zugesagt hat) und wollte es deinstallieren. Hab mal gegooglet und es auf 2 verschiedene Arten versucht -ohne Erfolg.


BITTE HELFT MIR!!!!!

Am liebsten wäre mir, wenn mir jemand erklärt, warum mein NB plötzlich ausgeht und wie ich das beheben kann.

Falls euch dazu keine Lösung einfällt, dann brauche ich jemanden, der mir das Löschen und die Auflösung der Partitionen erklärt.

Mein erster Verdacht wäre da ein vergurktes Powermanagement und der erste Ort wo ich nachsehe die /var/log/messages

Ist das mit den 33 Minuten nach Inaktivität oder auch während man arbeitet ?

linuxprobleme

Hallo,
also Powermanagement glaube ich nicht, da es Mitten im Programm ausgeht. D.h. ich hatte z.B. mal OpenOffice offen, habe geschrieben, plötzlich AUS. Heute ging es übrigens schon nach 22 Min aus. Und als ich es dann erneut hochfahren wollte, ging's sogar nach wenigen Sekunden aus. (Er hatte noch nicht mal Grub geladen.) Ich habe ca. eine halbe Stunde gewartet und ihn erst dann wieder an gemacht, dann ging er wieder "normal", aber ICH habe ihn gleich nach ein paar Minuten (ca. 10) wieder (ganz normal) aus gemacht, kann also nicht sagen, wie lange er "gelebt" hätte.

Ich musste mich erstmal etwas zurechtfinden in Linux (wie gesagt, mein erstes).
Ich habe unter:
Yast Kontrollzentrum-->Systemprotokoll anzeigen-->/var/log/messages
und unter:
Yast Kontrollzentrum-->Systemprotokoll anzeigen-->/var/log/boot.msg
extrem viel gefunden (2825 Zeile) gefunden. Soll ich die wirklich alle posten?!? :shock:

Bitte nicht über Datum / Uhrzeit wundern; habe ich nach dem Komponententausch noch nicht aktualisiert.

Das was ich gefunden habe ist schier unendlich.
Da ich, wie ich es oben schon gesagt habe, die Uhrzeit und das Datum noch nicht geändert habe, weiß ich nicht genau, was ich posten soll.
Es sieht ungefähr so aus: Okt, Nov, Dec, Okt
Gehe ich dann richtig in der Annahme, das ich nur das Unterste (=letzte?)posten soll?
