Suse 10.3 merkwürdiges /dev/sdb -> Fehlermeldungen beim b

Hallo,

seit Suse 10.3 (vorher 10.2) habe ich ein Problem beim booten. Es wird ein Laufwerk sdb angezeigt und beim Zugriff darauf hagelt es Fehlermeldungen (siehe Auszug aus /var/log/boot.msg). Ich habe aber nur eine SATA Platte (sda) und einen ATA Brenner (sr0) im System. Unter /sys/block/sdb/device/model steht "Config Disk".
Was ist das? Wie werde ich es wieder los?

Über Google habe ich das Gleiche Problem (soweit ich das Italienisch verstehe ;-) in anderen Foren gefunden.

Laut linux-ide Mailingliste hat diese "Config Disk" irgendwas mit PMP zu tun und zumindest das lange Warten und Resetten des Geräts beim Booten ist mit einem vanilla-Kernel verschwunden.
Also warte ich wohl auf ein Suse 10.3-Kernelupdate.

Gab es da nicht eine Bootoption, um bestimmte SATA-Ports nicht zu scannen? Vielleicht könnte ich den Kernel so von /dev/sdb fernhalten.
 
Das ganze gebackporte nervt manchmal echt (pata_ali das ich verwende, wurde dabei auch negativ touchiert...) :x
Insofern, ja, ein Vanilla-Kernel macht's erstmal :? - oder vielleicht tut's auch ein SUSE-basierter 2.6.23.1 nun?
