Crossover im Netz funktioniert nicht

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe folgendes Problem. Auf SuSE 9.2 (Client im Netzwerk unserer Schule) habe ich das crossover Paket der CD Wine Rack installiert. Wenn ich als normaler Benutzer das Office Setup starten will bekommen ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

'c:/ konnte nicht in einen Unix-Pfad konvertiert werden:
Warning: no valid DOS drive found, check your configuration file.
Warning: could not find wine config [Drive x] entry for current working directory /home/gerhards; starting in windows directory. Invalid path L"c:\\windows" for L "windows" directory: does not exist.

Wenn ich das crossover Paket als root installiere, dann kann ich es auch nur rott nutzen. Ich möchte aber gerne, dass es jeder benutzer im Netz nutzen kann. Auf meinem Einzelrechner zuhause hat es logischerweise funktioniert.
Wie kann ich es im Netz laufen lassn ???

da ich nicht genau weis, was in der Config drinstehen muss, habe ich mal die config zuhause mit der in der Schule verglichen. Die zuahuse war wesentlich umfangreicher, so als ob die config in der schule nicht ordentlich erstellt worden wäre. UNd genau das ist mein Problem: Wie krieg ich sie richtig hin ??
Ich hab es noch mal mit De- und Neuinstallation versucht. Mit dem gleichen resultat. Irgendwelche Lösungsvorschläge ?? Eine Kopie meiner config zuhause in der Schule aufspielen wird ja wohl nicht funzen, oder ??

Prinzipiell solltest du schon die Datei von zu Hause kopieren können.

Du musst allerdings die Laufwerke anpassen - z.B. das CD-ROM-laufwerk, oder dein /home-verzeichnis. Die anderen Werte stimmen aber weitestgehend überein.
Also schau mal, ob du das nicht hinbekommst - im Prinzip musst du nur die Pfade anpassen.....

(bei mir ist z.B. das CDROM auf /dev/hdc - bei dir in der Schule könnte es aber auch hdb sein....

habe das Verzeichnis /cxoffice vom PC zuhause auf den Rechner in der Schule kopiert. Funzt leider noch nicht.
ich vermute, dss ich noch einige Verändeerungen vornehmen muss.
Ich vermute, dass ich die Angabe des Home Verzeichnisses (Drive y) ändern muss (ist auf meinem Client vom Server gemountet). Ich habe die Datei officesetup gestartet und folgende fehlermeldung erhalten (was schon mal gegenüber den ersten Versuchen ein kleiner Fortschritt ist):

Also prinzipiell bedeutet diese Fehlermeldung, dass der X-Server, der für sämtliche Grafikanwendeungen zuständig ist, dir, bzw. dem Programm nicht erlaubt sich mit ihm zu connecten. Das kann verschiedene Gründe haben. Oftmals tritt dieser Fehler auf, wenn man sich per su zu root gemacht hat und dann versucht auf den X-Server zu connecten. Um dem zu entgehen genügt es manchemal ein xhost +localhost als user in die Konsole einzugeben.

Bei X-Server-Verbindungen über das Netzwerk kann es aber auch schon mal vorkommen, dass du einen anderen X-Server wählen musst, da dann ja auf dem Client gerendert wird; manchmal geht es auch garnicht!

Da musste dich hiermal im Forum umschauen, wie du evtl. weitere Berechtigungen für den X-Server setzt.

In dieser Zeile steht, auf welchen Screen er zugreifen soll...hier musst du das ganze evtl. anpassen.

ich hab also erst mal mein Verzeichnis /.cxoffice vom PC zuhause auf den PC in der Schule kopiert.

Habs mit xhost probiert. Bekam die Meldung "access control enabled, only authorized clients can connect".
Dann die setup datei ausgeführt und es ging !!! Konnte dann die Menüeinträge für die Windows Applications anlegen und fertig.

Dann aber der Knaller.

Ich hab das gleiche für einen anderen Benutzer probiert. (als anderer Benutzer angemeldet, Verzeichnis /.cxoffice kopiert etc.) und dann ging es nicht mehr !!
Noch eine Idee woran das liegen könnte ???

Sorry, aber was genau heißt es ging nicht mehr? Ich meine an welcher Stelle hat es nicht mehr funktioniert?
Oder aber welche Fehlermeldung hat er ausgespuckt?

Wenn du die Config wieder mitkopiert hast, dann musst du evtl. noch das /home-Verzeichnis anpassen....
