Hallo allerseits,

.) Kernel patchen: Kernel 2.4.26 mit dem bootsplash version 3.0.7
(Patchen war fehlerfrei)

.) Kernelsetup nach www.bootsplash.org

.) Kernel backen

.) 10:15:45 linuxmike /120GB/Linux/ltsp/splash/bootsplash-3.0.7
[root]Utilities/splash -s
-f ../Linux/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg >> initrd.splash

.) 02:23:58 linuxmike /120GB/Linux/ltsp/splash/bootsplash-3.0.7
[root]cp initrd.splash /tftpboot/lts/

.) mknbi-linux --rootdir=/opt/ltsp/i386 --ip=rom
--append="initrd=initrd.splash" --append="splash=verbose"
arch/i386/boot/bzImage > /tftpboot/lts/linux-2.4.26

Hier nun meine grobe Vorgehensweise (evtl. hilfts ja mal wem):

.) Verwenden des Kernels 2.4.22 (!!!!) von kernel.org

18:06:15 linuxmike /120GB/Linux/ltsp/splash/bootsplash-3.0.7 [root]Utilities/splash -s -f ../SuSE-7.2/config/bootsplash-800x600.cfg >> /usr/src/linux-2.4.22_ltsp/initrd/initrd-testing_ltsp-02

.) Kernel configen nach der Anleitung von http://www.bootsplash.org/kernel.html
.) Kernel an LTSP anpassen
.) Kopieren des Kernels nach LTSP - /boot:

18:09:09 linuxmike /boot [root]ls /reserve/ltsp/i386/boot/
. .. initrd-testing_ltsp vmlinuz-ltsp

.) Kopieren des Kernels nach /boot
.) /etc/fstab von LTSP anpassen:
/reserve/ltsp/i386/ / nfs rw,auto,user,exec 0 0

.) Initrd erstellen:
18:05:52 linuxmike /boot [root]mk_initrd -k vmlinuz-ltsp -i initrd-testing_ltsp -m sis900 -t tmp /reserve/ltsp/i386
using "/reserve/ltsp/i386/" as root device (mounted on "/reserve/ltsp/i386" as "nfs")

creating initrd "/reserve/ltsp/i386/boot/initrd-testing_ltsp" for kernel "/reserve/ltsp/i386/boot/vmlinuz-ltsp"
(version 2.4.26LTSP_init)
cp: cannot stat `/reserve/ltsp/i386/dev/tty1': No such file or directory
[......]
- insmod crc32 (kernel/lib/crc32.o)
- insmod sis900 (kernel/drivers/net/sis900.o)

.) Kernel-Boot-Image erstellen:
18:06:02 linuxmike /boot [root]cp vmlinuz-ltsp /usr/src/linux-2.4.22_ltsp/initrd/
18:06:11 linuxmike /boot [root]cp initrd-testing_ltsp /usr/src/linux-2.4.22_ltsp/initrd/initrd-testing_ltsp-02

18:11:25 linuxmike /usr/src/linux-2.4.22_ltsp [root]mknbi-linux --rootdir=192.168.1.10:/reserve/ltsp/i386 arch/i386/boot/bzImage initrd/initrd-testing_ltsp-02 --output=/tftpboot/lts/linux-2.4.26_myLTSPtv_matrox --ip=rom --append="splash=silent" --append="vga=0x314"
Note: elf format or --first32pm are now preferred
Real mode first32 will not be supported after Etherboot 5.0
18:12:05 linuxmike /usr/src/linux-2.4.22_ltsp [root]
