__alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed (gfp=0x1d2/0)

Wenn ich den Vierenscanner von MCAFEE (uvscan) starte bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung __alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed (gfp=0x1d2/0) in der /var/log/messages und anschließend beginnt der VM Prozesse aus dem Speicher zu beenden. Das sieht für mich so aus als ob hier Speicherbereiche nicht freigegeben werden.

Was kann ich dagegen tun? Hat jemand eine Idee?

Ich habe ein Suse 9.0 System mit der Kernel-Version 2.4.21-238 und 1GB
Hauptspeicher Prozessor Intel 3.0 GHZ
