Fehlermeldung beim Bootvorgang: Versuch, außerhalb der Platte hd0 zu lesen [...]

Hallo,

seit kurzem bekomme ich beim booten meines PCs (Linux Mint) eine Fehlermeldung angezeigt, der Bootvorgang wird abgebrochen:
Fehler: Versuch, außerhalb der Platte >>hd0<< zu lesen und zu schreiben.

Drücke ich dann eine Taste, kommen aus irgendwelchen Gründen, immer unterschiedliche Fehlermeldungen:

oder aber

Bei beiden Fehlermeldungen geht es ohne Neustart nicht weiter, allerdings kommen auch nach einem Neustart in den meisten Fällen Fehlermeldungen, nur selten funktioniert der Bootvorgang.
Das System (Linux Mint) funktioniert aber auch nach geglücktem Bootvorgang nicht richtig, nach ein paar Minuten in Funktion bleibt er hängen und lässt sich nur noch über den Gehäuseschalter ausschalten.

Zur Sicherheit habe deswegen das System erstmal in Ruhe gelassen und über eine Ubuntu GNOME Live-CD neu gestartet.
Dann habe ich, basierend auf den Informationen die ich einigen anderen Foreneinträgen entnehmen konnte, ein paar Befehle zur Analyse durchgeführt. Aus den Ergebnissen bin ich allerdings nicht ganz schlau geworden, bis auf die Vermutung, dass die Festplatte, oder zumindest die Verbindung zu ihr defekt sein müssten

Wie gesagt, bis auf die Vermutung mit dem Festplattendefekt, habe ich leider nur recht wenig Ahnung von der Materie und würde mich deswegen über jede Hilfe bezüglich Ursachen, Wirkungen und Behebung dieses Problems und im schlimmsten Fall auch Datenrettung freuen.

Falls weitere Informationen (Boot Info Script?) nötig sein sollten, fragt einfach und ich werde versuchen, diese zu beschaffen.
Allerdings kann ich wohl erst in einiger Zeit wieder antworten, da ich mich zwischenzeitlich berufsbedingt nicht um den PC kümmern kann.

Linux fängt mit der Platte nichts mehr an. Die unterschiedlichen Meldungen bei Deinen Versuchen führe ich darauf zurück, daß die Platte immer ein bißchen anders fehlerhaft reagiert.

Meiner Meinung ist das ein Defekt in der Elektronik (nicht in der Mechanik) der Platte. Wenn die Daten für Dich wichtig sind, mußt Du einen professionellen Datenrettungsdienst bemühen.

Um nichts zu versäumen, kannst Du ja das Kabel tauschen und einen anderen Anschluß am mainboard verwenden bzw. bei einem Laptop die Platte herausnehmen und wieder einlegen, aber an diese Möglichkeit glaube ich nicht.
