Probleme mit Energiesparmanagement bei Leap [gelöst]

Hallo,
nach mehreren Jahren Abstinenz bin ich mit Leap wieder zu openSUSE zurück gekehrt. Die Installation mit Gnome-Desktop auf dem Laptop verlief ohne Probleme. Es gibt jedoch Probleme mit dem Energiesparmanagement. Der Laptop kann im Akku-Modus wesentlich kürzer benutzt werden als zum Beispiel mit Debian Wheezy und Jessy, die vorher auf dem Laptop liefen. tlp und powertop sind installiert.
Ich habe daraufhin mal nach Kernel-Fehlern im Journaleintrag geschaut und folgendes gefunden:

Was bedeutet die Kernel-Meldung genau und was kann ich machen, um die Akku-Laufzeit wieder deutlich zu erhöhen.

Als erstes solltest du mal dein BIOS aktualisieren. Anschließend überprüfst du bitte die Energiespareinstellungen im BIOS und änderst sie ggf. Danach booten und postest die Ausgabe des von dir verwendeten dmesg Befehls.

Das Problem mit der Energieverwaltung besteht weiterhin. Gerade wurde mir vom System gesagt, dass ich mit 50 % Akku noch eine Viertelstunde Akku-Laufzeit habe. Das war vor dem Umstieg deutlich besser.

Wie hast du denn TLP konfiguriert? Hilft dir eventuell mein beitrag zum T60 weiter? Siehe sig.

Ich würde ja TLP und powertop nicht gleichzeitig verwenden. Die booten sich gegenseitig aus. Wenn TLP schon eingesetzt wird, dann nur TLP (meiner Meinung nach).

Dann nochmal kurz:
laptopmode-tools, powertop, tuned und eigene scripte deaktivieren. Dafür ganz auf TLP setzen.

smartd und hddtemp deaktivieren.

Warum disabling ASPM gleich mit Error aussteigt, kann ich dir so nich sagen. und evtl mal schauen ob die Festplatte überhaupt schlafen geht:

Wichtig ist auch, dass du schaust ob die Grafikkarte (runterfährt). Und das CPU trotteling funktioniert. (Das h vergessen fand ich grad lustig). ;)

Was ich meine: Wenn du vorinstalliert latop-modetools hast und dann zusätzlich TLP installierst und beide gleichzeitig laufen, dann wirds nich klappen. Weil grad das sind 2 tools die sehr ähnliche knöpfe zum Stromsparen bedienen. Und einer sagt so, der andere so.

PS.: Und gib doch mal Modellnummer und Ausstattung von dem Gerät an. Vielleicht fällt direkt was auf.
PPS.: Und TLP eignet sich halt auch besonders für Thinkpads. Weiss nich, was du hast. Ich komm halt mir meiner konfiguration so auf ca. 2 Stunden bei mäßiger Verwendung das mit einem Akku aus einer Generation bei dem das schon ziemlich viel war, dessen gesamt Lebenszustand noch bei ca. 73 Prozent liegt. Mäßige Verwendung ist für mich. Bissl was surfen, und vielleicht im Libre Office was machen. Also so, dass CPU und Grafikkarte auch mal zur Ruhe kommen und die Festplatte mal 5 min. das Drehen aufhören kann.

Laut meinen Infos ist TLP "für alle Notebook-Fabrikate geeignet, das Einstellen der Akkuladeschwellen ist jedoch nur für IBM/Lenovo ThinkPads verfügbar" (http://thinkwiki.de).

Freilig kannst du dir in Powertop ansehen was so alles eingestellt ist und welchem Modus es läuft. Du musst nichts löschen. Ich hab es auch noch installiert, weil man einfach mal schön nachschauen kann usw. Das hilft beim Tunen.

Was du mit Powertop nicht tun solltest ist -- da gibts diesen Autotuning Modus. (Klar der stellt dann evtl. was ungewollt um.)
Oder gar die Ausgaben in einen Script packen und via boot.local starten. (Schiesst auch quer).

Was werkelt in der Kiste denn an Grafikkarte? Und Prozessor?
- Also bei der Intel HD grafik geh ich mal davon aus, dass die das Stromsparen beherrscht. Wie man bei der Einfluss nimmt kenne ich mich nicht aus.
- Core i3 sollte vom Betriebssystem anstandslos abgehandelt werden, ohne jegliches weiteres Zutun.

Was ich auf die Schnelle sehe, was mir nicht gefällt:

Nicht jede WIFI kann das, da müsstest evtl mal sehen ob sie kann.

Empfehlungsweise schaust du dir die TLP config nochmal an, da stimmt was nicht. Siehst ja. Ich kann nicht viel mehr tun als dir den Link hier hinknallen:

Und das mit den 2 Fehlermeldungen die do so schön hervorhebst, denen müsstest du eventuell auch nachgehen. Vorallem das mit dem Akku klingt sehr suspekt. Ich hab n bissl nachgelesen und gelange zu dem Schluss, dass in Verbindung mit deiner Hardware und sysfs es sein könnte, dass aufgrund der verwendung von veralteten sysfs strukturen da zu dieser Meldung kommt.

PS.: Auf das mit der Eignung gehe ich nicht weiter ein. Das ist ok so und kann man so stehen lassen. Das zwischen den Zeilen gelese nervt.
PPS.: Eventuell magst du auch doch noch mal beobachten ob CPU frequenz Skalierung funktioniert:

Viel viel mehr fällt mir nicht ein, außer mein Beweis Notebook und die Tipps. Und ich meine irgendwo herausgelesen zu haben dass bestimmte Entwickler bestimmter Pakete bestimmte Distris bevorzugt selber benutzen. Freilig kann es sein, dass die Unterstützung dort besser ist.

Ich habe auch mal in Yast2 bei der Dienste-Verwaltung nachgesehen, ob ACPI überhaupt läuft, das ist aber nicht der Fall.

Der ACPI-Daemon empfängt Events, die von der Hardware bzw. vom BIOS/EFI an das Betriebssystem geschickt werden. Der TLP konfiguriert das System, wie es sich verhalten soll, wenn der Laptop am Netzteil hängt bzw. wenn er eben nicht am Netzteil hängt.

Ja, ich weiß. Aber das geht doch nur, wenn er aktiv ist. Also doch manuell aktivieren, weil nicht automatisch geschehen?

Wenn ich das richtig lese, liegt der Wert für charge_full bei etwa 10 % vom Ist-Wert (charge_full_design).
Das dürfte erklären, warum der Akku nicht voll geladen wird. Dieses Problem trat erst auf mit dem Wechsel von Debian zu openSUSE.
Kann ich den Wert für charge_full manuell ändern?

Ich habe den Akku jetzt ausgetauscht. Die Ausgabe von tlp-stat ist unten angehängt. Ich hatte angenommen, dass TLP Angaben wie charge_full aus einem config-file ausliest und der Wert falsch sei. Jetzt bin ich da auch schlauer. Warum die Akku-Kapazität so (gefühlt) eingebrochen ist, weiß ich auch nicht.
