Shutdown streikt nach Upgrade auf 13.2

Vorher hatte ich 12.3, und da klappte der Shutdown aus KDE (auch mit der Ausschalt-Taste auf meiner CyMotion Master Linux) heraus tadellos (und von der Textkonsole erst recht). Nach dem Upgrade auf 13.2 verschwindet zwar KDE, doch dann schaltet das System auf die Textkonsole (mit Login-Screen) zurück, nimmt aber keine Befehle per Tastatur mehr an. Auch das Umschalten auf die anderen Konsolen liefert nur einen einsamen Cursor, und das war's. Abdrehen kann ich die Möhre nur noch durch 3-sekündigen Druck auf den Ein-/Aus-Schalter.

Früher stand apm auf off. Ich habe es auf on gesetzt, doch das hat nicht geholfen. Alle anderen Parameter sich automatisch generiert. Da habe ich nicht mal beim Upgrade etwas geändert.

Wat nu? Danke für jeden zweckdienlichen Hinweis.

auf der Konsole hat die gleichen Effekte wie ein Herunterfahren aus KDE heraus.

Die Einstellungen des Login-Screens sind exakt die gleichen.

Warum verwendest Du den Failsafe-Start (oder abgesicherten Modus oder wie immer das Ding derzeit heißt) bzw. dessen Boot-Optionen?

@Josef: Ich weiß selber nicht, wie die Failsafe-Einstellungen in die Bootloader-Config reingekommen sind. Im Bootmenü wähle ich immer den Eintrag ohne Failsafe aus. Oder hat das mit dem Nouveau-Treiber zu tun, den der Installer mir untergejubelt hat? :???:

@Stephan: Probier ich mal heute Nachmittag aus.

Echt fies finde ich, dass manchmal nach einem manuellen Ausschalten der Rechner wieder von selbst erwacht. Gestern musste ich deswegen schon mal das NT ausknipsen.

Zum Vergrößern anklicken....
Wenn eine Nvidia-Grafikkarte verbaut ist, wird der standardmäßig installiert. (Ausnahmen bestätigen natürlich die Regel).
Er wird nicht "untergejubelt".

Die Bootparameter würde ich auch einmal überarbeitet.

So ist es, denn keiner davon ist für den Normalgebrauch sinnvoll, und von einer Automatik wurden die sicher nicht eingetragen. Übrigens kann nouveau bei nomodeset nicht verwendet werden, es wird vermutlich der deutliche schwächere fbdev sein.

Ich habe jetzt nochmal gekiekt und bemerkt, dass das Formularfeld Failsafe-Parameter heißt. Falsche Zeile wohl. :/ Beim Booten nehme ich aber immer den obersten Eintrag, der m.W. nicht failsafe ist.

Als optionale Parameter habe ich das da stehen:

Die HW-Info zeigt den nouveau 131 als aktiven Treiber an.

init 0 hat übrigens exakt die gleichen Auswirkungen. Klappt da was mit dem Herunterfahren der grafischen Oberfläche nicht? :???:

Etwas googeln ergibt:

Zum TSC-Problem gibt es mehrere Berichte, doch die Ratschläge reichen von nichts tun (weil es kein echter Bug ist) über Kernel-Update bis zum BIOS-Update. Das Problem scheint bekannt zu sein, doch weiß keiner so recht, wie er das lösen soll.

Zum IO-APIC-Problem fand ich nix.

Nach einigem Rumbasteln am serial-getty-Service des systemd (der einen Login-Prompt auf mein VT420-Terminal zaubert) löste sich der klemmende Shutdown quasi von selbst. Besagter Service versagte nach dem Systemupgrade den Dienst, obwohl ich an den Config-Files nichts geändert hatte. Offenbar versuchte systemd, den verklemmten serial-getty zu beenden, was nicht klappte. Jetzt geht's aber wieder. Sei's drum.
