[gelöst] grubkonfiguration für suse 11.4 und ubuntu 10.10 ??

Hallo
Ich habe auf dem Pc zunächst ubuntu installiert und anschliessend opensuse 11.4 . suse wollte zunächst ubuntu unbedingt formatieren und bot mir später keinen grub Eintrag für ubuntu an. grub erkannte aber die richtige Konfiguration für suse , ich habe einen Eintrag für ubuntu hinzugefügt, habe aber keine Ahnung wie der Befehl lauten muß. ubuntu ist auf sda6 und bootet aus dem mbr.

suse hat meine EIntrag wieder entfernt. ich bin mir auch nicht sicher , ob hd(0,7) richtig ist sda8 für suse root.

Aber das kann so nicht funktionieren. Ich habe ubuntu noch auf einen anderen PC mit virtualbox , verstehe aber nicht wie der bootet.

Der Ubuntu- Eintrag stimmt so nicht ganz.

Da bei 0 angefangen wird hochzuzählen, kannst du nicht root(hd0,7) verwenden, weil hd0,7 /dev/sda8 entspricht und dein Ubuntu aber auf /dev/sda6.
