[gelöst]Bios/Mainboard-Problem oder evtl. kaputt?

Hallo zusammen,

mir ist da was komisches passiert: während ich eine DVD kopiert habe mit Suse 11.0 und nebenbei ein bischen im Internet gesurft und e-mails abgerufen habe, fror der Bildschirm plötzlich ein. Es hat gar nichts mehr funktioniert. Irgendwann schob dann die CD-Lade auf und mir wurde die fertige Kopie gemeldet. Anders ging aber gar nüschts.

Normalerweise kann ich beim Start auswählen, ob ich Suse oder WindowsXP nutzen möchte. Jetzt aber wurde beim Neustart gemeldet "booting from local disc. Isolinux: Disk Error 01, AX=0201, drive 80. Boot failed: press any key to retry." Als ich das machte, startete er relativ normal, nur hielt er nach der ersten Zeile schon an mit "AutoDetecting PriMaster press F4 to abort" und als ich F4 drückte, kam "AutoDetecting PriSlave press F4 to abort" - Der Rest lief normal durch. Nur gestartet ist er nicht. Ich habe dann die Suse-Installations-CD eingeschoben und Repair installed system gewählt. Daraufhin sagte er mir, no hard disks were found. Check your hardware. Außerdem kam noch eine Meldung (rot hinterlegt) an error occurred during the installation. Ich konnte auch Windows nicht starten. Nach dem dritten Versuch fuhr Windows hoch und aktuell ist Linux gestartet, dem ich die untenstehenden Infos entlockt habe.

Ich vermute irgendeinen Konflikt zwischen Bios und Mainboard - das ist es aber auch schon. Mit meinen Vermutungen kann ich wenig anfangen, da ich nicht gerade DER Computer-Crack bin... :/ Hoffentlich hat die Festplatte keinen mitgekriegt. Hat jemand von Euch vielleicht noch einen Tip? Und sorry, wenn das da unten zuviel Input auf einmal sein sollte, bitte Bescheid geben, dann lösche ich, was unnötig ist (das müsste mir aber dann auch jemand genau sagen, was unnötig ist :eek:ps: )

Im Log hab ich mal auf die Schnelle nix relevantes gefunden. Hast du nach dem "Hänger" einen Kaltstart gemacht? Ansonsten kann es sein, dass sich eins der Laufwerke kurzzeitig aufgehängt hat und den Bus überladen hat. Dann kann das BIOS beim Starten nicht auf die Laufwerke zugreifen.
Ist mir mal passiert als mein letzter Brenner den Geist aufgegeben hat. Der hörte einfach nicht mehr auf :D
Nach STRG+ALT+ENTF (allerdings unter Windows) hatte ich selbiges Problem beim POST. Nach einem Kaltstart gings wieder.

ja genau, mit Kaltstart da raus und dann normal neu gestartet, was dann erst mal nicht funktionierte. Du meinst also, kaputt ist eher nichts?

Mich treibt zusätzlich noch folgende Frage um: bei Windows drückt man ja die berühmten drei Tasten STRG+ALT+ENTF, um abgestürzte Programme zu beenden und (hoffentlich) trotzdem mit dem Rest weiterarbeiten zu können. Hat Suse sowas eigentlich auch oder kommt man bei Suse nur mit einem Kaltstart raus, wenn sonst nix mehr geht?

Naja wenn du nen kompletten Kaltstart gemacht hast ist mein "Szenario" eher unwahrscheinlich, denn dabei werden die Laufwerke idR kurzzeitig abgeschaltet.

Unter KDE gibts (oder gab? habs schon ewig nicht mehr gebraucht) mit STRG+ESC eine Art Taskmanager. Ansonsten kannste das auch fein über Konsole mittels ps oder top und anschließendem kill.
Man kann auch den kompletten X-Server mit STRG+ALT+Backspace neustarten. Bzw. muss man das mittlerweile zwei mal machen. Beim ersten Mal gibts nur einen Warnton (was auch Sinn macht).
