Aktualisierungen schlagen fehl

Hallo an alle

Habe frisch von Win auf openSuse gewechselt. Die Installation verlief auch problemlos. Beim Versuch der Systemaktualisierung via Yast -> Online Aktualisierung bekomme ich sämtliche verfügbaren Aktualisierungen angezeigt. Dann markieren -> installieren -> anwenden: System macht und tut, Neustart erforderlich etc. Nach dem Neustart und erneutem Aufrufen der Online-Aktualisierungen sind wieder die gleichen Patches aufgeführt, d.h. sie wurden wohl nicht wirklich installiert.

Alternativ: Computer -> weitere Anwendungen -> System -> Aktualisierungssystem -> zeigt mir an 14 Sicherheits- und 26 wichtige Aktualisierungen -> anwenden -> folgende Fehlermeldung: siehe Dateianhang

Wie mache ich es richtig?

und nachdem ich "schliessen" klicke popt up:

Ja aber nach dem nächsten Start des Notebooks erwartet mich (schon seit ein Paar Tagen) das Gleiche.

Bitte, hat jemand eine Idee für den newbie?

Hey rybkon,
Habe öfter dieses Problem.Dann muss man über Yast per Hand die Aktualisierung durchführen.Denn es gibt zwischen den Paketen, Abhängigkeiten die Du erst lösen musst. Im Klartext heißt das, Yast gibt Dir Lösungvorschläge vor, wo Du Dich für eine entscheiden musst.

habe nun aber viel zu tun mit den Updates!
Muss ich bei installieren von Software dies machen- da werden aber nur upgrades aber keine updates angeboten. oder ist das falsch?

Ganz einfach
Yast-> Software installieren oder löschen -> Filter: suchen auf Paketgruppen -> bei Paketgruppen , runter scrollen auf Alle Pakete -> jetzt rechts die Pakete scrollen bis Du ein blaue markierte Versionsnr. findest. -> auf diese dann mit der Maus rechts Klick -> Alle in der Liste -> Aktualisieren, falls neuere Version verfügbar ist : schon haben fertig

Updates bekommst Du, wenn Du per Rechtsklick auf den Updater => "Applet konfigurieren..." ein Kreuz bei "Zeige verfügbare Updates, wenn die Software sie anbietet (Nur für Experten)" machst. Dann brauchst Du nicht so viel suchen...

das grüne Symbol(Suse-Icon) rechts unten auf der Task-Leiste
oder: Yast -> Installieren -> unter Suchen: Updater -> kde4-opensuse-updater, (Haken setzen) und installieren.

Hallo revo,

ich habe GNOME drauf obwohl eigentlich den KDE wollte, nur nach der Installation weder der KDE 3.5 noch der 4.0 hatten bei mir etwas gezeigt - nur schwarzer Bildschirm mit dem (Maus) X in der Mitte. Die dritte Installationsprobe war mit GNOM und auf Anhieb funktionierte. Ich habe kein SUSE Kopf in der Task Leiste und bei Yast suche ich auch vergebens nach" Updater -> kde4-opensuse-updater".

Trotzt dem danke für den Tipp, vielleicht irgendwann gelingt mir KDE auf meinem Notebook zu installieren

habe FACTORY Aktualisierung nun runtergeladen und jetzt mit dem Tool geht's wunderbar bei mir!!
