Welche Channels kann man alles nehmen?

Ich hab jetzt mal einige Channels zu smart hinzugefügt, allerdings weis ich nicht, welche ich eigentlich ohne Sorge nehmen kann. Hab Angst das ich mir durch irgendwelche alpha-versionen oder so das System zerschieße. Hier ist meine Channelliste:

Alles andere kommt nicht direkt von Suse und kann daher Beta-Software enthalten.
 
Folgende Channels sind doppelt vorhanden:

[suse-kde] = [kde3]
[kde-backports] = [suse-kde-backports]
[suse-101-apt-extra] = [suse-non-oss]
[suse-101-apt-update] + [suse-101-apt-security] = [suse-update]
[suse-101-apt-base] = [suse]
[packman-i686-101-apt] + [packman-101-apt] = [packman]
[suse-101-apt-suser-guru] = [guru]
[suse-101-apt-mozilla] = [suse-mozilla]

Wirklich äußerst gefährliche Channels sind da kaum drin, und die paar gefährlichen, die drin sind, sind sowieso auf "disabled" gesetzt.

=> Mit einer garantierten Systemzerschießung brauchst Du nicht rechnen, aber es schadet trotzdem nicht, vor jeder Transaktion genau hinzuschauen.

Ein Kandidat, den Du noch auf "disabled" setzen könntest, wäre [suse-101-apt-gnome]. Wie es da im Moment aussieht, weiß ich nicht, aber die Erfahrung zeigt, dass es da in mindestens 4 von 12 Monaten im Jahr erbärmlich aussieht. Außerdem scheint da im Moment eine defekte gtk2-Version herzukommen.

Wenn du meinen channel drin lässt, kannst du diesen smart-Channel auch als Typ repomd bzw yast2 konfigurieren.
Das hat zwar den gleichen Inhalt, aber es hat den Vorteil, das die Metadaten zeitgleich mit den RPMs auf dem Server erscheinen. Bei APT werden diese erst serverseitig erstellt, was manchmal zu Problemen führt, wenn der gwdg.de unter Last steht.
